This shows us just how thin-skinned this administration is to criticism.
All they had to say was that Harris, out of an abundance of caution, was getting check out by doctors. Nobody would have questioned that.
Instead, they make up some "routine" appointment with at Walter Reed, when anything "routine" for the VP would likely have meant the doctor coming to her at the White House.
