At least four people were injured by the gunfire, police say, in a drive-by shooting outside of the park's third base gate.
Two of the victims were transported to hospital via ambulance conscious and breathing.
Another two walked into area hospitals to be treated for gunshot wounds. Their conditions are not known at this time.
One of the victims appears to be a Nationals Park employee, NBC 10 reports.

Apparently, they have two suspects currently undergoing medical treatment.
It's the weekend.
Yes, the Amish market near us sells masks with the Nationals logo.
I’ve, in the somewhat distant, past driven through there during the Day. Kept swiftly moving on.
Will NEVER drive through there again. Call me privileged...
No, guns are not illegal in DC. In fact, DC is shall issue when it comes to CCW permits (by court order). Even non-residents can get a CCW permit (if you jump through the hoops.)
There is a bunch of red tape that law abiding gun owners have to jump through that the ghetto thugs ignore.

“Just a typical Saturday night in DC” (paraphrasing actor Robert Beltran in “Night of the Comet”)
Waiting for Bob Menery to do a video on this.

Awwww, thats too bad. Makes me sad. Sniff, sniff.
Nope. They found out that all her pitches “circle back” and hit her in the head.

Ironically, I was talking about not having gone to a National’s game at their new park due to physical disabilities and a fear of crime (no way I would take the subway anymore, esp. in that part of town or going North to PG Plaza).
My imitation of the Babylon Bee re how they would report on this story:
“Mayor Muriel “Bow-Wow” Bowser said that it was a mostly peaceful night in DC. Further body-count updates later tonight and Sunday by noon.” (We’ve got to count them all plus the wounded (or “injured” as some news media like to use instead of “shot, wounded, plugged, gunned down, human Swiss cheese”).
DC - “District of Crime”
As Motel 6 might say about coming into DC, “You can come in to DC, but we can’t guarantee you’ll get out alive. We’ll leave a lit candle on for you”.
#15. Re “are they sure those were shots, or just more ... hits”.
I would say:
* In DC, every weekend has its “hits”, lead hits if you please
* Maybe just the sound of popcorn exploding (I don’t think so!!)
Ridiculous overreaction, with hundreds SPRINTING away outside the park, when they were perfectly safe inside, and announcers and the scoreboard LED told them so.
Who would want to watch commie ball?
Over 2500 people have been murdered in LA, San Francisco, Chicago, New York, Philadelphia and Atlanta over the past year. Not only were these murders not prevented by agressive community policing as was once the case, but a very small percentage of the cases have been solved or the murderers arrested and held accountable. No cop in his right mind is risking his life or career in these urban areas to investigate and apprehend these felons. They know they are not appreciated or protected by the politicians. Nor will the prosecutors tey to convict these felons. Democrats control these urban, unlivable areas.
and announcers and the scoreboard LED told them so.>> Ineresting thing i learned from 9/11. People in my office were on the phone with people in the tower. They were were told not to evacuate. When they do fire drills in the building they tell you to stand at the door. In a real situation I’m gone down the 40 floors . Also. The instructions in my office long after that for active shooter was to hide in your office. Office having glass and shoot thru walls. After 9/11 and even before i resolved to fend for myself. My strategy at my office was to evacuate in the fire escape stairwell, 40 floors down, all concrete and very much angled and pretty well protected from someone shooting. Why work to kill me when all the other people are sitting waiting to get shot. You don’t have to be fast you just have to be faster than the other guy.
THOSE DAMN AMISH!!!!
She will be pitching the bullshit everyday, not sure about the ballpark.
“bad neighborhood”? dc?! if it’s not the street scum, it’s the crooks and liars that infest it. IT IS modern day “sodom and gomorrah”.
