Senate Minority Leader argues Dems don't have a mandate to introduce socialism
Democrats’ "wildly inappropriate" and massive $3.5 trillion spending spree will generate "zero" Republican support, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell told "The Faulkner Focus" on Thursday.
"It's a wild spending taxing spree, completely inappropriate for the country, which is already suffering from dramatic inflation," McConnell, R-Ky., expressed to host Harris Faulkner. "Running the country into the ground, both with taxing and debt is not a good idea."
McConnell made these comments after Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., announced late Tuesday night that the Budget Committee had reached an agreement to allot $3.5 trillion for a spending package that would complete President Biden’s infrastructure plan.
Meanwhile, Rep. Pramila Jayapal, D-Wash., said on Wednesday that the $3.5 trillion budget proposal by Democrats in Congress will include a number of top liberal priorities – including pathways to citizenship for millions of illegal immigrants.
"It's an introduction of socialism into America, done on a one-party basis in a Congress that's virtually tied," McConnell mentioned. "[Democrats] didn't get a mandate to do this…They're not going to have any Republican's help."

If Americans ever come into control of Congress, first order of business will be to dismantle every communistic program and agency going all the way back to the egregious excesses of the FDR regime.

I think it’s a shame that our GOP “leaders” don’t push back against the Democrats’ pack of lies with simple words and simple phrases like “slush funds, “kick-backs”, “bribes”, “blackmail” and “bullying”.
Why should we oppose the Dems’ so-called “infrastructure” bill? Because most of the spending in that bill would create a colossal Democrat “slush fund” that Dems can use to stay in power.
Talk is cheap. And Mitch has always been all talk, no action and big money contributors first.
Imho: the DC pukes have for years passed government spending packages and subsequently would use complicated maneuvers to loot the pools of money. Much would be in the form of kick backs from the criminal governments of foreign countries accepting US monetary aid (China, Iran et al), thus leaving the American taxpayers on the hook. That’s how so many have become millionaires (Jobama). This $3.5 trillion will make even more DC millionaires. I surmise the DC criminals are going to take while the taking is good because it’s better now than ever.

Further, Mitch unconvincingly pretends to misunderstand his charge. It is not to just stand by and refuse to help the ComDems. He is paid to be one of the leaders of our party in opposition.
By definition that quite often requires heavy lifting, but sadly he is not man enough to meet the challenge. Most in that position would have trouble sleeping at night.
When this country is back in the hands of America First DC politicians, I’d like to see the Original US Constitution reinstated in full and relitigate the rest. My priority would be to remove limited immunity for ALL politicians and judges nation wide. Also, failure to uphold one’s oath of office will be cause for immediate removal from public office. Just a very small start.
