Organizers met at Happy Hollow Park and traveled together to Centennial Park, where the fourth day of the march began. They are doing similar walks in cities across Indiana for seven days and 300 miles.
"For more than 15 years now, we have been driving in fear, driving to work without protection and it was something that once protected us from deportation, and so we're here demanding that we have that right back," says Catalan-Ruano. "It's not a luxury, it's not a privilege. We should all have the right to drive."
The group is pushing state legislators to allow "driving cards" for undocumented immigrants. But similar bills in the past have failed.

“says Catalan-Ruano. “It’s not a luxury, it’s not a privilege. We should all have the right to drive.”
You do.... in Mexico.
They are invaders and have no rights. They are criminals.
Yo Paco.... you have the right to go TF home!
Deport them all.
I don’t understand what the problem is. If they can qualify for a license, can produce the correct insurance or bond, can pass a driving test, can be healthy enough, and have not had their driving privileges removed by law, then what’s the problem?
The difference is, I believe in their second paragraph that says:
“...it was something that once protected us from deportation...”
If you aren’t supposed to be here and you are evading deportation using it, then you should not be driving. Just that simple. It called using a tool to evade the law. And that is neither a luxury or a privilege either the same as being here to begin with.

We live in a clown country.
Because a piece of paper keeps you safe.
Idiots.
Deport them all.
Hell no. hey drive like crazy people. They cause accidents, walk away scot free. The people who get hit end up having to turn the claim over to their own insurance who then raise your rates.
The more illegals around, the higher your rates are.
If they came here legally they could drive on their Mexican licenses if here for a short time or get US licenses if here for a long time. Being here illegally is the problem.
And if they got licenses would they then be documented undocumented immigrants?
IIRC, one of the test questions in Driver’s Ed was, is driving a right or a privilege?
Very first thing we were taught in Driver’s Ed: IT IS A PRIVILEGE
Bingo.

Hey you illegal bozo,, Catalan!! Driving is a Privilege, Not a Right!
Driving is not a constitutional right. You get your drivers license based on the skills you have and the rules you agree to follow. After you get your driving license you must continue to demonstrate your ability to drive safely on the road. If you fail to demonstrate this ability, you will be issued traffic tickets, or even have your license suspended or revoked. No one has more right to the road than anyone else. If you’re going to drive, you owe it to the other roadway users and yourself to operate the vehicle in a safe manner.

A driver license in the US is a privilege; NOT a right.

I think it’s primarily the DEM States that do that to build up their voter rolls.
International driver’s licenses are easy to get and cheap.
What’s the problem? (Ha, Ha, Ha)
Is there any other country on the planet that would allow this kind of nonsense?
