'The Communists have lost control': First Cuban demonstrator is killed after police 'open fire on peaceful protest' while anti-government reporter is arrested live on TV as unrest continues

The first Cuban protester has died after police allegedly opened fire on a peaceful demonstration while an anti-government reporter was arrested live on TV as the unrest continues on the Communist-run island.

Diubis Laurencio Tejeda, 36, died on Monday in a suburb of Havana during a clash between protesters and police, the Interior Ministry said.

The ministry said Tejeda was part of a group of protesters that had attacked a government facility in the La Guinera neighbourhood of Havana and did not say what caused his death.

But witnesses said security forces had responded with gunfire after some demonstrators had thrown rocks at them.

'I think the Communists have lost control, they won't have a solution to this situation,' said resident Waldo Herrara, 49. 'The people are tired of so much humiliation, so much repression.'

Meanwhile, social media activist Dina Stars was reportedly arrested live on television by Cuban security forces while speaking with Spain TV host Marta Flich on Tuesday about the protests.

Thousands of Cubans took to the streets of Cuba on Sunday while chanting 'down with the dictatorship' in the biggest anti-government demonstrations on the Communist-run island in decades.

Cubans are protesting over high prices and food shortages and other grievances against the government such as their handling of the pandemic.

The protests, rare in a country where public dissent is tightly controlled had largely ended by Sunday evening, as security forces were deployed to the streets and President Miguel Diaz-Canel called on government supporters to go out and fight to defend their revolution.

I support any action that will keep them there and out of the boats.

I am an America First nationalist.

I do not givva sh!t that they allowed themselves to be yoked by communists.

Is that sufficient clarity?

They will probably insert a fake person of the people and undermine any sort of notion of freedom.

Killing people is how commies deal with dissent... it’s why we think of commie hellholes as ‘hellholes’...

Cuba’s a hellhole.

It’s why we don’t want their damn filth here. Nope, we’re NOT going to trade our freedom for cheaper but totally inferior ‘health care’... and fools in power who think they can ‘get things done faster’ if they don’t have to represent the people....

That includes most of the democrat/commie party.

You are right. Biden will betray then and they will be slaughtered.

Just as our esteemed Vice- President betrayed us. A lot are snickering believing that President Trump was who he stuck the knife between his ribs. But it was not President Trump he and most of the Republican Party betrayed. It was the United States of America and its Citizens that was betrayed. Judas Iscariot received 30 pieces of silver when he betrayed Jesus. What did Judas[Mike] Pence received when he betrayed the United States of America?

Until these people can arm themselves they’re spitting into the wind. Chairman Joe isn’t going to arm them.

"And the Biden administration will be knee deep in this via the CIA with technical help and money. To support the regime and crush the protests."

Yes they are and we are even warning the Cubans not to try and reach the US. They will be intercepted by the US Coast Guard. Meanwhile, we have lifted many sanctions on Venezuela which gives their dictator a lifeline and also benefits Cuba. Everything the Biden team touches hurts the US and aids totalitarian dictators. How long before the US security forces start firing on American patriots?

...they allowed themselves to be yoked by communists.

Cuba has been Communist for over 60 years. Most people there were born into it . In case you have not noticed we are in the middle of a Communist Revolution here. These people are natural allies at a time we could use them.

“The Cubans picked the wrong time to do this....”

So you think their protest was done as a tactical, political decision? Like they’re organized and led by local leaders plotting against the government? You and the communist leadership think alike apparently.

Maybe Life Just Sucks now and the people are fed up. People don’t need leadership to be pissed off at a government which has failed them.

“Release the murals and teddy bears.”

But this has given the Cuban people what they largely didn’t have before, a martyr.
Not easy to make a martyr out of someone who is simply disappeared. Public death by police is instant martyrdom in these situations.
Plus the lady who was arrested while talking live on Spanish tv.

Now if the Cuban people can keep up the pressure.

No, they haven’t lost control. See Tianamon Square (sp?). It is just with so many commie-supporting celebrities and other traitors to the human race visiting the country they could not immediately go to the next page — which is shoot ALL of them. This will result in nothing. IF there was any risk that it might lead to a successful revolution, BeijingBiden would send troops to help the Cuban Gov’mt. With the USSR no longer readily supporting commie regimes it is now US’s job.

If everyone but the regime is lucky the death of Diubis Laurencio Tejeda will be the spark that lights the powder keg that overthrows the regime.

I don’t know anything about Cuba but history has proven that people who believe they have nothing to lose will go to extraordinary lengths for their cause.
Is Cuba at that point? Could be.
If the police or army waver at all things will get red hot in Havana.

But curious that *resident Bidet chose this time to end sanctions against the regimes best buddy Venezuela.
Any bets on Venezuela, or China, sending troops to Cuba to cow the populace?
