he Republican National Committee will air an ad during Tuesday night's Major League Baseball All-Star Game that claims political figures and corporations "lied" about Georgia's new voting law, which led to MLB moving the game from Atlanta to Denver.
The game was originally set to take place at Truist Park, home of the Atlanta Braves, but MLB moved it to the Colorado Rockies' Coors Field after Democrats, including President Biden, likened the law to Jim Crow. The RNC said it is putting seven figures into the ad buy.

—”Who cares?”
Well, this is a very serious case of cultural appropriation.
Atlanta has been a ball team since the 1870s!
No cars, no internet, and your news arrived on a stone tablet.
Denver not so much. And mostly just rocks on the top of other rocks.
C’MON MAN! Get woked up!
Don’t.
My sense is that the RNC is in “CYA” mode because an e-mail by an RNC attorney was shared with Trump attorney Jenna Ellison asserting that the RNC’s position should not support Trump on election fraud charges shortly after the election.
This coupled with huge attendance at Trump’s recent rally’s, CPAC straw poll numbers and their own internal polling showing Trump is popular with the base.
They maybe having and Oh $hit moment.
Because the democrats already have that line blocked and fortified.
So their response is to subsidize MLB?
Should have put those 7 figures towards preventing the theft in the first place.
A token offer to wake the base, they're worried their handpicked RINO's are going to get clown-stomped when people fed up with a corrupt process simply don't bother.
Get woke, go broke.
None of that matters since it seems the 'rats have perfected the "art of the steal" ...with willing accomplices in media/business.
Politics is a lost cause.
Some things can only be fixed the old-fashioned way.
I bet it gets pulled
When I typed in maga it gave magazine as the next option. Where did you type in maga? A search engine or FR?
A dubious, low payoff expenditure IMO. The baseball crowd won't pay any attention to it. The money could be better spent supporting better candidates and highlighting conservative issues.
Exactly! A great comment.
Looks like ESPN is the only outlet carrying the Home Run Derby tonight. [Actual All-Star game is tomorrow night.] Considering how WOKE ESPN has become, they and/or the MLB will likely prohibit the ad being broadcast.
So their response is to subsidize MLB?

Yep, give money to the people you’re complaining about. That’ll show ‘em.
The Stupid Party strikes again.
This is up there with sternly written letters. All talk …no action by the RNC.
Actual All-Star game is tomorrow night.

The Woke-Star Game.
One Leftist Democrat cesspool stole a MLB game from another Leftist Democrat cesspool.
Who cares?
The reason we care is because baseball decided to move the game based on lies told about the Georgia voter law. We care because people who otherwise don’t care much about politics but follow sports, end up believing the lies when their president falsely says this Georgia law is Jim Crow on steroids. We care because baseball made this high profile decision based on false information, which can influence people to think the GOP is racist, sexist, etc.
Didn’t know anyone watched sports anymore.
I haven't seen him. #LGM
Too bad the RNC didn't stand by Trump in the months right after the fraud occurred.
I have feeling even fewer are going to be watching it this year.
Ohtani is a perfect sign of that. If he was on the scene 10-20 years ago, he’d be a household name, with everybody watching him to see what he does, like Mark Fydrich in the 1970s.
It’s really a sign of baseball’s decline that it isn’t the case.
