The Biden administration is preparing to release a blueprint for limiting sales of drilling rights that falls short of the outright ban sought by some environmentalists, as rising oil and gasoline prices highlight the risks of curtailing domestic crude production.

More American slavery to the Mooselip Brotherhood.
Drilling is not something you can just throttle back, and expect to come back when you change your mind.
All the companies which provide drills, pipes, etc, when they go out of business, it’s not coming back. Nobody will take the risk of re-starting a drilling support business, if the next administration can just shut them down again.
And drilling depends on a continuous stream of young people coming on as apprentices to learn the trade. A friend worked the oil fields at one time. It’s hard physical work, young men’s work.
Foot in the door kiddies. Foot in the door.
THAT is the OBJECTIVE....................
Never put yourself at the mercy of atrocious countries when it comes to energy.
Biden’s handlers have gone overboard and this is dangerous. This will lead to much more than just higher gasoline prices.
The objective IMHO is to get a few million more people to buy electric cars.
To put solar panels on their house.
To reduce their oil consumption long term.
I live in NH.
We do not have a natural gas pipeline and probably never will in front of my house.
The current heating system uses heating oil.
I installed a wood pellet stove insert seven years ago.
I have added insulation wherever I could.
I have replaced exterior doors.
The point is that the Liberals want to make energy prices so high that they force us to cut our energy use of oil, propane and other petroleum distillates.
I used to have a forced air oil furnace that claimed to be over 90% efficient. It probably was. It did produce the best quality heat I have ever had in a home. I wish I had it in my latest home. I now have a hybrid system that incorporates an electric heat pump and propane furnace. This system does not produce the rich heat an oil furnace produces.
Unless you have had a good oil furnace, it’s very hard to describe effectively the richness of oil heat.
Yeah baby…destroy our energy independence and make our energy expenditures much higher…
I actually need to think about replacing my Axeman-Anderson forced hot water oil burner furnace. I believe mine is probably 25-30 years old. It was a very good quality furnace for its time, but it is getting to the end of its life expectancy.
Do you recall the brand you had?
America is full of FOOLS!
Bwah hah hah hah hah!
Middle east oil cartels give the big guy a a wink and a nod.
Let's never forget that FACT: 80+ million voted for DJT and had their vote STOLEN.
Where’s Howard Heflin when we need him?
“Well, I see that Senator Biden has changed his position on offshore drilling.”
As I said .....”America is full of fools”..... who haven’t correctly responded to the FACT that their votes were stolen!

Firepower of #2 fuel oil. 140,000 BTU per gallon
good point
The Communist Purge Is Growing Exponentially & Nothing Is Being Done About It!
Balderdash natural gas is 1100 btu per cubic food and my back up furnace alone cranks out 250,000 btus it will push 150+ degree air to the vents if turned all the way up. Natural gas heat is superior to oil fired in every way. No soot, no smelly tanks to be filled, half or 1/3 the cost per million btu. Virtually instant heat there is no real warm up once the main burner starts to roar after a 5 second pilot light burn it’s 200,000+ btus on tap. With the right secondary orifice I.can use propane out of the 500 gallon tank in the back yard should the gas grid go down like it did in Feb for a day ish it was barely 4” of water at the smart meter down from 11” normally. Propane keeps for decades without varnish or water ingress again superior to oil in every way.
