But she would’ve won even better if it weren’t for all that systemic racism.
I’m sorry, i’m told now by “academic” libtards that demanding proper spelling is racist and acting white...
I feel badly for her. She rightfully won and now will only be known for being the first black.
Soon spelling bees will consist of spelling the first names of African Americans.
Avant-garde is not a name.
She must have weird parents.
Spelling bee changes rules to avoid ties

Black people who grow up in Louisiana have no chance of ever being successful at anything. Not only are they systemically oppressed by white supremacists, but they’re educated in some backwater red state where the residents are so stupid they don’t want to get government RNA injections.
Do I have it about right?
Why is it that I can’t find an article indicating which public school she attends?
Where is the equity in having a champion? Shouldn’t all 1,342 entrants be declared co-champions?
Congratulations to this young lady. Kudos.
The article cares more about her being African American than her success. They don’t say it, but they are just hoping that the reader will think that the girl overcame massive racism, hate and opposition to reach her goal.
The girl won by studying her English, and not by blaming any failure on Whitey.
Truly remarkable girl. Not only did she win the spelling bee, she’s also an extraordinary basketball player/gymnast. Last night Fox News had a clip of her dribbling four basketballs while simultaneously bouncing around on a pogo stick. At her age I once tied just to use a pogo stick and fell off immediately while banging myself in the face with the fool thing. I’ve also never been able to dribble a basketball properly.
Sounds like the runner-up was also a black female.
Anyway he'll probably utter something to the cameras along the lines of: "Hey, you're a big girl now, prolly get lot's of action, right?. You should be proud - just shows ya... Black folks can be as smart as real people sometimes."
The press will coo: "He brings so much dignity to the Oval Office."
Congratulations to this talented young lady!
A great thing about homeschooling is that you can finish your studies quickly, without spending so much time sitting in classrooms, and then you have more time to focus on what interests you, in Zaila’s case basketball and spelling.
