Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez took a dig at opponents of her Green New Deal climate proposal — sharing video of the severe flooding that left New Yorkers wading through waist-high water at subway stations across the city — claiming her policy would have avoided the disaster, but instead New Yorkers have to “swim to work.”
“The Green New Deal, which is a blueprint to create millions of good jobs rebuilding infrastructure to stem climate change & protect vulnerable communities, is unrealistic,” Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) tweeted in quotations, writing the post as a critic of her plan. “Instead we will do the adult thing, which is take orders from fossil fuel execs & make you swim to work.”

She has a degree in economics yet the best job she could find in New York city - a city with endless opportunities - 7 years after graduating, was working as a bartender, a job any high school dropout could get. She failed in the private sector, so once again we get another loser dumped into politics who now declares she’s an expert in atmospheric physics, much more knowledgeable than a real atmospheric physicist like Richard Lindzen or Dr. Roy Spencer both who say man made global warming is utter crap. AOC gets propped up as guru of global warming while those guys are ignored.
Hey AOC, know why your city is flooded? Because of all the garbage and crap in the streets clogging up the drainage. I saw it myself, a guy pushing garbage away from the drains and the water was gone in an hour.

Last time I checked modern PUMPS NEED ELECTRICITY to operate; that electricity is usually generated by NATURAL GAS, COAL, FUEL OIL, NUCLEAR ENERGY, or HYDRO POWER (sorry sweetheart, but solar and wind aren’t going to cut it).
Get rid of fossil fuels and all you have left is Hydro and Nuclear power, both of which to the IDIOT are BAD, so have fun scuba diving in your COMPLETELY FLOODED TUNNELS, you MORON!
