Dramatic video captured the moment a Haitian mob captured two alleged Colombian assassins, beat them and dragged them bloodied through the streets of Port-au-Prince after President Jovenel Moïse was gunned down.
A video shared on social media shows the crowd pulling two men, one of whom was shirtless and bound with a rope, in the neighborhood of Petion-Ville, near the late president’s private residence.
“Advance, advance!” someone is heard yelling on the video as the crowd pushes the two men, who were discovered hiding in some bushes.
Some people grabbed the two by their shirts and pants, pushed them and occasionally slapped them.
Another video on Twitter shows police hauling the suspects off. The user said the men had been attacked with machetes.
An Associated Press journalist saw officers put the men in the back of a pickup and drive away as the crowd ran after them to a police station.
“They killed the president! Give them to us! We’re going to burn them!” people shouted outside.
The violent crowd later set fire to several cars riddled with bullet holes that they believed belonged to the assailants. The vehicles didn’t have license plates, and inside one was an empty box of bullets and some water.

Seems odd that presidential assassins were found hiding in bushes. Like it was a setup- hire amatures to kill him knowing that they would be caught and killed by the mob.
Were I to try to kill the president of Haiti, i would have a go-fast boat sitting just off shore at the nearest coast and using it, escape to another island at a bare minimum, then take a different boat from there to another island.
Point is, you can’t kill a high profile person and expect to just hide nearby and get away with it. You have to plan it out and it looks like these people are either scapegoats or patsies.
LOL....yes, ‘usual suspects’ can be who/whatever TPTB deem they need to be.
I’m sure we’ll eventually find out who was behind it all.

In the mid 1930s my grandfather had been in the country for only a couple of years after emigrating from Norway. George Weyerhaeuser a local rich kid was kidnapped. My grandfather was walking home from work and got picked up by the police. He had a funny accent and had not yet mastered the finer intricacies of the English language. It took two days before my grandmother was able to figure out what had happened and get him out of jail.

Most of the assassins were Colombian.
Haiti is on my no go under any circumstances list.
Even that 1 nice town they have for cruise ships.
Hiding in the bushes , maybe using the bathroom ?
The article profusely hypes the actual video.
The captured men were white.
One problem...... the rope binding the captured white man was or appeared to be heavy twine and certainly inadequate for lynching

I don’t go anywhere that I have to vacation inside barbed wire to keep the locals out.
First of all, even though it’s nice, it’s still prison.
Second of all, I have seen how that movie ends too many times.
