It looks like the first steps are being taken to start a forensic audit of the 2020 presidential election in Pennsylvania. This week, Pennsylvania state Rep. Doug Mastriano requested “information and materials” from multiple counties for a “forensic investigation” just like the recently completed audit in Maricopa County, Arizona. Mastriano is the chairman of the Intergovernmental Operations Committee.
President Trump has been calling for a forensic audit in Pennsylvania. He and his campaign have long alleged irregularities and fraud in battleground states where election laws were violated. However, the media has loudly dismissed these allegations, and those who believe fraud occurred are censored on social media despite the evidence. For example, massive election integrity issues in Atlanta were witnessed and documented by a contractor hired by the Georgia secretary of state, including “the double-counting of votes, insecure storage of ballots, possible violations of voter privacy, the mysterious removal of election materials at a vote collection warehouse, and the suspicious movement of ‘too many’ ballots on Election Day.” Other irregularities have been uncovered in Maricopa County.
Mastriano sent letters to Philadelphia County, York County, and Tioga County, but he told One America News Network on Wednesday that there could be more if “sufficient evidence” of “shenanigans and corruption or fraud” is found.

Yay from a Pittsburgher!
Bttt
Would that be an audit that drags on with no impact?
“Requesting information and materials” is a long way from doing an Arizaona-type audit.
We should have SOMETHING from Arizona by now. The only thing this has been generating consistantly is fundraising.

Pennsylvania Ping!
Please ping me with articles of interest.
FReepmail me to be added to the list.
“We should have SOMETHING from Arizona by now. The only thing this has been generating consistantly is fundraising.”
I think it will accompany the Durham report.
This is wasted effort. Nothing will change from doing these “audits”. The best plan is to primary RINOs and elect better candidates. The effort is better spent taking the House and Senate. But, if the GOP gets both chambers, and keeps the likes of McConnell and McCarthy in charge... that is nearly wasted effort.
Basically everything we see from elected officials is designed to either coerce or placate. This country is headed down the drain and the direction is the same regardless who is supposedly in charge.
I see the Republicans hold a significant edge in both your House and Senate. How long have Republicans had control or does it swing back-and-forth a lot?
In 2022, the mission should not be to try to unseat Democrats. That would be a good thing, but first and foremost, we should put all of our efforts to voting out every RINO who must face a primary in 2022 and replacing them with America First patriots. We had the numbers of people with an (R) after their name in the state legislatures to conduct a proper audit. But too many of these people turned out to be RINO traitors.
The key focus should be on purging the enemy within.
With friends like RINOs, who needs Democrats?
PA is not AZ.
The Philly mobsters had to be behind the Steal, that’s who the Rat party is there.
Don’t know how many people end up face down in a ditch over this but you can bet that the cover up will get violent fast with State investigators out asking questions about audited ballots turning up crooked.
Agreed. The media isn't going to give any discrepancies any wide, meaningful coverage. Even IF the audits result in tighter election laws, we are seeing that the Heels Up administration will sue to block these stricter laws, and with friendly courts, they will get their way.
The best plan is to primary RINOs and elect better candidates.
This has been the "plan" for the better part of the nearly 40 years I've been involved in politics. Unfortunately, it just does not work. Every Republican politician I have voted for said a lot of big things in the runup, but once they get elected, the establishment lets them know how it is going to work, and it ISN'T in our favor. At this point, only fools vote GOP.
What Arizona audit?
RE: What Arizona audit?
Tell us why you don’t believe this current audit going in in Maricopa County isn’t an audit.
Tell us when we will get to see the results?
Tick tock . . .
BOOM!
RE: Tell us when we will get to see the results?
So, your reasoning is — because the results of the audit aren’t being shown NOW, it isn’t really an audit?
What if they are being extra careful and there are additional steps to be made before the results are released and such steps take time?
If nothing’s ventured…then nothing’s gained
Would that be an audit that drags on with no impact?

A review resulting in no action.
Rs have had a lock on the PA legislature forever, The Senate for 25+ years, the house has slipped here and there. Which is amazing given the large democratic registration advantage, but like everywhere they are concentrated in cities
But, if the GOP gets both chambers, and keeps the likes of McConnell and McCarthy in charge... that is nearly wasted effort.

The problem is when a party stands for nothing getting control over both chambers is meaningless. The GOP is a party devoid of any principles, convictions or beliefs. It is, in short, a fake party.
Anther problem is, as you noted, our failure to elect people and hold them accountable for honest efforts and/or results. We continually elect people on the basis of rhetoric instead of accomplishments. And that’s on us.
I am not sanguine about so-called “GOP control” of congress. Our political class is a bunch of charlatans.
