I certainly am glad. We lived across the street from a humongous cotton field when we lived in Lubbock...and the gin wasn’t far from us either. It was a nightmare! Of course, we were kids then and didn’t really think about where all our sneezes were coming from. We just played in it. LOL! Silly us.

I’m allergic to pretty much all pollens so like you, when I was a kid it was simply go out to play and live with the sneezes and watery eyes.
Just live with it is all one can do.

The one I feel really bad for is Bella. Her asthma really kicks up with cotton right outside. I need to take her in tomorrow or Thursday for a shot. Poor baby.

Poor little Bella can’t catch a break from allergies. it seems like yesterday they were harvesting last year’s miserable crop.

Yeah, the poor kitty. Her asthma gives her enough trouble as it is but cotton really fires it up. I was dismayed more for her than I was for us when I realized that’s what was planted this year.

Well, the first set of lawn mowing people DID NOT show up as promised so I called another business and they say they're going to come down tomorrow so let's hope they do so.

Also, the mechanic fell behind on my pickup work. He was working on another pickup and was having major problems with it so he wasn't sure if he could get to my pickup today so I took it back. I'm going to bring it back later this morning and hopefully, he'll get to it.

I was able to get a picture of Gizmo in the house yesterday. I'm hoping we can resume our trips to the lake very soon.
