America's largest teachers' union has announced it backs the teaching of critical race theory in schools, wants to hire staff to 'fight back' against those who oppose CRT, and has called for an October 14 rally to be held in honor of George Floyd's birthday.
The National Educator's Association recently approved a resolution to promote critical race theory through its existing channels, work to 'fight back' against opponents of the practice.
It also wants to assemble a team to teach it to union members and create a 'national day of action' to start a dialogue about systemic racism on October 14 – George Floyd's birthday.
The resolution reads that the NEA will 'provide an already-created, in-depth, study that critiques empire, white supremacy, anti-Blackness, anti-Indigeneity, racism, patriarchy, cisheteropatriarchy, capitalism, ableism, anthropocentrism (human centered points of view) and other forms of power and oppression at the intersections of our society.'
It continues to say that the NEA plans to 'publicly (through existing media) convey its support for the accurate and honest teaching of social studies topics, including truthful and age-appropriate accountings of unpleasant aspects of American history, such as slavery, and the oppression and discrimination of Indigenous, Black, Brown, and other peoples of color, as well as the continued impact this history has on our current society.
'The Association will further convey that in teaching these topics, it is reasonable and appropriate for curriculum to be informed by academic frameworks for understanding and interpreting the impact of the past on current society, including critical race theory.'

The NEA was founded in 1857. CRT blames the existing establishment for the on going problems of systemic racism. How is a 164 year old organization Going to solve systemic racism today when they have not for the past 164 years? It appears that the NEA is part of the problem, therefore they should not be part of the solution.
Way past time to get rid of the AFL-CIO affiliated Teacher Unions as well as the AFL-CIO itself. It’s all an organized crime syndicate and the Chicago mob controls it all.
This the greatest argument for keeping the government, local or federal, out of education.
Private schools would compete for the best teachers and salaries would follow. For those that would have a hard time paying for a private school, tax credits, charitable instituions and others can pick up the slack.
If we can get millions of shoes without the government, we can do education as well.

They will lose when, and only when, there are no longer students in their classrooms.
Patriots need to primary candidates for federal and state offices who don't clearly promise to keep CRT out of the classrooms.

The NEA has declared war on America. In a just world it would be designated a terrorist organization, but now, the public education system seems totally lost to patriotic Americans.
GOOD news for people who always have believed in parents being the Major Players, and having a dominant role in forming character in their lives of their little ones.
Note well the word union. What that means is that some group of liberals who usually vote democrat and tell the members to do the same, are dictating to the members what they must do. It is time for passive resistance to dumb stuff!
