In Wakefield, Massachusetts, an armed group that apparently believes it is not subject to the laws of the United States engaged in an hours-long standoff with police in the early hours of Saturday morning.
On its Twitter account, The Associated Press reported that nine suspects were taken into custody after the incident, which closed down Interstate 95 — the major north-south artery for the entire East Coast — in both directions on the Fourth of July holiday weekend.
No member of the group — carrying long guns and clad in military fatigues — was wounded in the standoff.

Naturally, too many Twitterers jumped to quick conclusions.

Their recruitment drive was disaster
Yeah, it was all lefist fun and games until it was revealed that it was the Inverted Fried Chicken Bucket Brigade aka Moorish-Americans. Oh noes! Dey all be black!
What law exactly did they break? Being in public with a gun? Not saying that they are the brightest bulbs on the chandelier. The Moorish reference is not positive, been happening for a while.
What's the Left going to do with this?
Bury it, because it doesn't fit the narrative.

Local commie news here in LA called it a “Standoff with gunmen” never showed their faces, never called them a militia, nothing..just said “Group of armed men” LOL..gotta love how the commie media changes the words around when it doesn’t fit their narrative
Driving on our highways, but not subject to our laws?
Nice work, if you can get it.
It is Massachusetts
Yep. We need more stringent gun laws to prevent people like this, who don't respect our laws, from carrying guns.

Yes, Massachusetts takes the position that their very strict firearms law apply to anyone, even someone just traveling across the state. So they regularly arrest motorists in possession of firearms that would be legal in other states.
Their attorneys should raise the 2nd amendment issue of why Massachusetts requires a license, which is often not issued based on the sole discretion of a local police chief, to merely purchase a firearm and keep it at home, or to possess it in any way. And add to that the issue of Massachusetts applying that law to people who are just passing through the state.
The media did a good job of hiding the truff.
It’s obvious that nothing will happen to this group, like nothing happened to the blm crowd for their crimes.
If they’re not charged with anything, then apparently unlicensed firearms are acceptable as long as you claim to be a sovereign citizen.
If they are charged, they should take legal action as you suggest.
Sad! So when did they get moved to China?
Are you a racist full time or just on the weekends?
It’s because it’s what comes from Ap they read that copy but do no research
