When did it become so normal to turn American children into little activists?
The New York Times has an occasional pull-out section for kids in its Sunday paper. Great, right? What could be bad about news items for children?
Alas, the topics are chosen from a hard-left perspective and aren’t really news items at all but opinion pieces presented as news, often more egregiously than the paper’s adult content.
One headline warns, “A new wave of bills is targeting trans kids.” Turns out the bills are meant to protect girls’ sports and ban gender-reassignment services for minors. The Times calls this a ban on “gender-affirming health care.”
Op-ed columns can be expected to offer perspectives and twists like this, but news items are purportedly impartial, or close to it. Yet there is nothing even remotely impartial about the Times’ language.
Another piece focuses on teen activists motivated by the death of George Floyd. One child writes, “Before George Floyd died, I didn’t realize how hard the world is. Since then, I’ve come to terms with how bad stuff is going to happen.”

The brainwashing IS the political war.
The issues are not the issue. The revolution is the issue.
The communists win if they brainwash the young into obeying them.
Newspaper circulation is declining, with about 800k Sunday subscribers in 2020. Newspapers are not a choice of the young. Further, 91% of subscribers identify as Democrats.
The silver lining in all of this, is most kids become rebellious at some point. Decades ago, kids rebelled against conservative parents. Perhaps in 10 years, kids will rebel against stupid wokey stuff.

My 4th grade class was targeted by liberal brainwashers in 1972. I say brainwashers because of the emotional manipulation and betrayal they used to teach an anti-colonialist history lesson.
The culture of the school was conservative but it welcomed this outside group.
My children were the target of eco-guilt brainwashing in the mid-90s. Again, emotional manipulation, fear and sadness and responsibility they did not have.
I took it up with the headmasters, the manipulation, and the factual inaccuracies, and the omission of success stories.
A good alternative is Prager U. Lots of short little videos that can undo years of lies in minutes.
No Matter where they attend class, its up to you to monitor and direct their education.
Needless to say all their propaganda from that point on was wasted on me . I was introduced to Ayn Rand by a shipmate in the Navy and Rand made the case for Capitalism even stronger.

Good, but it won’t be enough. Home schoolers wont be allowed to home school much longer if we don’t get involved in what is being taught in the government schools.
With the issue of CRT and teaching it in our school system I am cautiously hopeful this could turn into a winning issue for conservatives...
You see parents confronting school boards everywhere over this issue.
You see some states, my state of Florida in particular banning the teaching of CRT....
If a Republican started to strongly advocate alternatives to public education it would be a big winner especially in minority areas....
School Choice, Vouchers and strong support for home schooling could be big, if explained properly...particularly if you framed the issue as a civil rights issue....
You combine how the teachers unions have screwed children by refusing to teach over the last year causing long lasting damage to children, with the teaching of CRT and the left may have gone to fr....
Hubby was recently in two very busy local grocery stores.
He noticed a step change in muzzle behavior.
In both stores the only people muzzled were 20 to 30 YO parents with wee ones, grade school age kids. Parents and kids all muzzled.
Lots of other patrons, some older, some same age as the muzzled but without kids. No muzzles.

SKYLINK can bring internet to the most remote areas, and kids can learn real education-—MATH-—ENGLISH-—HISTORY.
Once SKYLINK is up & running, I wouldn’t be surprised if Musk gave a special rate to ONLINE learning students.
I also would NOT be surprised if MUSK partnered with OLD FASHIONED teachers/parents & created ONLINE LEARNING.
HE needs educated employees in the future—and today’s examples won’t cut it for him.

The real brainwashing is targeting the Founding Principle of Liberty and Self Government.
Marxism seeks to undermine our faith in the Constitution, and in our ability to self-govern.
Climate Change, Systemic Racism, Social Injustice, Wealth Inequality - all of these false claims are intended to convince us that the Constitution is a failure.
The Republic is a failure.
The Founders were flawed.
We can’t Self Govern.
We can’t be trusted with freedom.
The concept of limiting government authority is wrong.
We need to scrap the Constitution.
We need to give up our Individual freedom in favor of the Collective.
We need Socialism.
So, the children may rebel against today’s stupid wokey stuff.
But the Marxists will just move down to the next lie on their list.
We need to teach our children the truth:
That Liberty is the only path to peace and prosperity.
That Socialism is just another name for tyranny.
If we don’t, they will have to learn it the hard way.
You know, one thing we have in our favor, is that communism isn’t fun. It denies human nature, a sense of humor, a sense of ownership and accomplishment. And the 4th of July is FUN and profoundly American.
The indoctrination from the left will fail as long as we stand for our individual rights protected by the constitution. We will miss them, and even the leftists will miss them when they are truly threatened. I hope I am not too optimistic .
In the meantime, don't buy into CNN et al's agitprop that all kids are leftists, just like all Boomers werent drugged out hippies and all GenXers weren't depressed grungers. It's the mouth-breathing GenZers in the cities that get on TV, not the normal kids in normal America.

I’m talking about an educational deficit that is very real.
99% of Americans are convinced we are a Democracy, because children have been taught that for over a century.
Because of that single misconception, the American people are easy prey for Marxist liars who want us to trade away our individual sovereignty to the collective.
