Considering events of the past few weeks, it seems fitting to review what the Founders had to say in America’s core documents -- the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution – and then to compare those words with the public words and actions of our federal politicians. Of course, everyone is (or should be) familiar with these words from the Declaration:
“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness --That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed....” (Emphasis added)
In addition to that timeless wisdom, the Founders constructed and ratified the Constitution to limit the Government’s power. They also had the wisdom to define individual citizen’s inherent rights in the Bill of Rights. Without these first ten amendments, which effectively closed potential loopholes that the founders knew from experience the government would seek to exploit, some historical commentaries opine that the Constitution might not have been ratified.
Furthermore, it’s because of the Bill of Rights that the Constitution, and the power of We the People of the United States of America, quite likely would not have continued to exist as we have for nigh on two-hundred-forty-five years.

Two questions for those Patriots among us who are ready to fight to restore our Free Constitutional Republic.
1) How many get that the Constitution CREATED the Federal Government (and the United States of America) and ANY AND ALL valid power of the Federal Government is derived from particular enumerated powers enumerated mostly in Article I, Section 8 of the Constitution, and if it is not particularly enumerated in the Constitution, it is not a valid power of the Federal Government? (Which is why 80+% of the federal government is unconstitutional and in tyranny. Many erroneously think that the feds power is legit if the Constitution doesn’t forbid it which brings up the next question.)
2) How many get that the first Ten Amendments are NOT a “Bill of Rights” because the Declaration of Independence which frames the Constitution declares man’s rights derive from God, not man, and the first Ten Amendments are a sampling of those powers the Constitution has not delegated to the feds? (Totalitarian governments around the world issue tons of “bills of rights” as though those rights are derived from man and his government.)
Amendments 9 and 10 explain this but few seem to care and the Delusional Lying Let has tried everything they can to blot out the effect if not the text of the 9th and 10th Amendments.
Yes, but not so many people themselves embroiled in constant rancor and enmity.

The founders had up close, personal experience with traitors and quislings. They tried to protect us—and if we followed the law and the Constitution to the letter, we’d be pretty well protected. Flouting the law is rampant today. Unequal application of justice further destroys their excellent roadmap for us. We must take real action and get involved at the local level.
