Olympic hammer thrower Gwen Berry, who sparked outrage by turning her back on the national anthem on the podium on Sunday, is being sponsored by an activist group which campaigns to defund the police.

Berry, 31, turned her back on Sunday when the national anthem was being played after her Olympic qualifier.

She said she was tricked into being there at that moment, and was enraged and confused, insisting the anthem did not represent her - but she still loves the United States.

She’s a black racial provocateur, funded by a neo-Marxist black hate group Color of Change.

She must think that this is the Olympics in Mexico in 1968. Got there by a time-travel machine. Wish she would stay there.

This kind of crap is getting old and smeller as time goes by.

Apparently the anthem was scheduled to play earlier. There was no connection between the anthem and the medals being awarded. It was in Eugene. I’m surprised that they played it at all. That said, her response, compared to the other medalists, was telling.

She finished in 14th place in Rio. She’s running out of chances to make an attention grab on a large stage. Opening or closing ceremonies at the Olympics, maybe? I don’t see her making the podium, unless she makes a really great showing.

Gwen Berry is nothing but a disgraceful lowlife. Her association with Color of Change is sufficient reason to have her taken off the track team. Her poisoned mind is allowed to have no accountability for the disrespect she has shown.

Berry’s disrespect is about the words in the third stanza of the anthem. The third stanza is Scott Key’s criticism of slaves who joined the British to fight against the colonists. They were encouraged to do so in exchange for their freedom from slavery. Key didn’t think their freedom from slavery was more important than the slavery imposed by British rule and the need to fight against them with all sacrifice.

The first stanza gives praise to the determination of the colonists to fight for freedom. The flag represents their success because of their perseverance. The third stanza scorns those slaves who betrayed the fight against the British.

When the Olympics and other sports are being hi jacked by morons who hate the US, that is when ALL patriots should quit tuning in. No viewers of this ridiculous behavior WILL send a message and marketers will no longer sponsor their bullshit since their primary concern is making money off the viewers.

As I said when this story first surfaced and we saw these public comments from people criticizing her for her behavior while representing the United States:

She doesn’t represent the U.S. She represents the corporate sponsors who pay her bills. And when you compete in a sport that generates less revenue than a hot dog eating contest at a county fair, your options for corporate sponsorship are likely to be almost non-existent.

If she was being sponsored by the KKK she would have been competing in a white hood and burning a cross while the national anthem was playing.

Gwen is a poisonous Berry.
Remove her from our Olympic Team before that toxicity spreads.

She’s like a sassy child acting up in church.

Boot the SOB from the team.
He shouldn’t represent the USA if he hates it.
