Sounds like a speculative contention to me. We don’t even know if there was a round chambered in the rifle, do we?
If a car is a threat to people, would it not be reasonable for someone to raise a firearm in defense of those lives, just as it is reasonable for the driver to defend himself from said raised firearm? The space in between those two scenarios is where the prosecution and defense will battle it out.
Many of the posts on this thread indicate that people need to adjust their thinking to fit the new tyrannical paradigm.
