Fox News cut off its live coverage of former President Donald Trump’s remarks at the nation’s southern border on Wednesday after he began discussing his allegations of fraud in the 2020 election.
Despite heavy promotion of the event, the network abruptly returned to studio coverage after Trump claimed he had won the 2020 presidential election.
“We had an election where we did much better than we did the first time and amazingly we lost,” the former president said during his remarks.
“I just want to thank the people of Texas because we won in a landslide. It wasn’t even close,” Trump added.
“We got 12 million more votes than we got the first time,” he continued.
“We better get our elections straightened out because you’re going to have a runaway country, you’re going to have a banana republic, you’re going to have a third world country here pretty soon because our elections are a mess,” Trump continued. (Despite numerous allegations of voting irregularities, no court has ruled that there was widespread fraud that affected the results of the 2020 election.)
The former president’s audio was cut off by Fox News shortly after those comments, and the network continued coverage from its New York studio.

Fake news. They played all of it. They cut when he started thanking everyone there and there were only a few seconds left.
That’s okay.....they let Hannity host a GREAT town hall, with PDJT, in Edinburg TX, afterwards/last night.

And, OANN aired a great follow up interview, with PDJT, immediately following his Weslaco meeting with American supporting BP and law makers.
I haven’t watched Fox in years, though I see Tucker, but mostly on You Tube.
But why were they covering the visit in the first place ? Right, for ratings. Then their desire for ratings conflicted with their “Trump lost (thankfully!) and we called his defeat before anyone else and we were right “ agenda, and the latter won.
Yeah because the owners are dems. Making money off of conservatives for a while. Made there move on election night and became part of the steal. Haven’t been back since. They keep tucker on to keep people watching. He will leave soon I hope. Maybe then I will watch him again.
Ok, I watched the video. They did not cut his feed when he was talking about the election. It appears they cut it after he finished his comments and began to thank all the pooh-bahs who were there.
I am not a Fox cheerleader, but while thanking the pooh-bahs is good local/state politics but it is not national news so this piece does not appear to be grounded in “anti-Trumpism” by the producers of Fox. I don’t care about the pooh-bah thank you tour. Did not watch it during Trump rallies either - fast forwarded.
Fox News is the last place to rely on for covering Trump there are better sources anyway.
