Asian Americans are beginning to realize that their values are no longer aligned with the shifting Democratic Party.
A recent spike in Asian hate crimes has led to leftist and corporate media that deliberately refuse to talk about the perpetrators and their motives. They insinuate the hate crimes are due to either structural imbalances in society or a direct result of white supremacy rhetoric. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez bizarrely blamed the rise in attacks on Asians on former President Trump.
The New York Times also attributed it to Trump’s alleged xenophobia with the term “Chinese virus.” NBC News even went further, pondering whether violence against Asians should really be considered a hate crime, given that Asians are privileged and it might hamper the fight against “systemic racism.”
Outlets refuse to acknowledge who the crimes (including murder, gang rape, and assault) are committed by or fear of a backlash from activist groups. As with most attacks on Jews in New York city, most of the perpetrators are black.

They’ll still vote DEM in the majority, with the continued, misguided belief that somehow placating the extremists on the left will save them personal grief.

Sounds like the Asian Americans will be lining up with the African Americans, the Jewish Americans, and all the other “little people” that the Democrat Party allegedly represented back in the day.

and now the commie=nazi leftists are pushing the Asians out of the D party (and most Asians really don’t have anything in common with the commie-Democraps anyway....indeed, many of the Asians fled to USA from Communist China to get the hell away from the communists in their own country)
so neither the Jews nor the Asians have anything in common anymore with the new DemoNaziCommie party

True, this article is probably wishful thinking. We can dream, right? I have never understood why most Asians and Jewish people vote Democrat.
Chinese and Vietnamese have always generally aligned with the GOP.
It always surprises me at the number of Asians who are liberal, especially given their traditional values (especially their affinity for education, family and hard work). Like Jews, it seems like they are slowly waking up to the fact that Dem policies are not in their best interest. The only problems it that it is a VERY SLOW realization for a lot of them. The women seem more conservative than many of the men. Lots of Asian soy boys out there, especially those working in Tech. Go figure.
The Chinese are strong Democrats. Filipinos and Vietnamese are mixed.

Depends on how assimilated they are, and what generation. I used to watch Viet Nam tv. from Viet Nam. There’s a stereotypic facial gesture, always smiling, then when a character is showing conflict & pressure, the lower part of the face is still smiling but the upper part is frowning or furrowed brow. It’s expected that you show manners & always smile. That means, Make Nice. Of course, assimilated 2nd & 3rd generations have been brainwashed here.
There are three views I’ve heard from Asian friends over the last few years:
1) Ant-communism doesn’t resonant like it once did,
2) There is a view in the Asian community that Republicans are made up of primarily fundamentalists who are racist crackers, anti-education (meaning science) and hold Asian culture in contempt,
3) The view that Republican\Conservative principles are too individualistic compared to the holistic family (More then the immediate family !) first cultural approach. Actually I view this as a “sort of” racial solidarity statement. (Though I don’t think would ever actually say that to them !) Asians “potlatch” (Help each other get established !) more then almost any other minority demographic. So much do they do this that when I lived in the NOVA-DC area local blacks were convinced there was a secret government program helping them.
I’ve heard the above or similar statements from Asian friends some Republicans trying to explain it to me others apolitical trying to explain their lack of interest.

That was my first question. If they’re like the rest of the Democrat voters, they have NO CLUE as to what the Democrats have become.
...and it’s because WE let them have the media, tech, and nearly everything else. We fully deserve what’s coming.

Most attend college thus they are indoctrinated with socialist and woke doctrine - they are a product of our public education institutions.
Were the schools teaching conservative doctrine instead of the DNC talking points, we would see lawsuits to end the unfair indoctrination!
