15 to 20% of recognized pregnancies end in miscarriage.
I don’t think a pregnant woman should take the vaccine, but the question is how the numbers compare to the baseline rate.
I lost three babies before birth, it is heart breaking, devastating, but far more common than most people realize.
How utterly stupid for pregnant women to get jabbed. How utterly stupid for parents to have their little kids jabbed. It’s on their own if they get jabbed.
That said, my understanding is that these fecal cell lines have been reproduced for decades in labs. They are no longer taking the lives of new embryos. Or at least they weren't. I think sleepy Joe is allowing them to do so again.
So what's done is done. As long as new lives aren't being taken. The fact that a fecal cell line was used, doesn't bother me.
Now that we know how to stimulate adult stem cells to adopt various forms, I don't really understand why anyone needs embryonic cells.
And I'm against baby part sales, because they provide an incentive for abortion. I probably wouldn't be against them if they came from miscarriages where the child could not be saved and there was no way for the harvesters to make money on them. But as long as a financial incentive exists, it casts a cloud of doubt over the integrity of those harvesting the parts.
The use of the unborn for product development medical and non medical has been known for years amongst the prolife community.
Ok. We shall all find out shortly how the righteous judge of the Universe sees it. Perhaps your justification of these practices will be well received? As for me and my house…
‘Abortion’ is being conflated with ‘miscarriage’ in the article for affect. Words matter.
and those numbers are only for those where the mother knew she was pregnant or cared to report it.
Fake equivalence.
The unknown here is that these miscarriages all happened shortly after the jab.
What you’d have to do is make bins for each day since conception, and find the miscarriage rate in the general population occurring on that day of gestation. Then compare that to the jab.
Oh and back out confounding factors like drinking, smoking, drug use, maternal age, car wrecks, other diseases, etc.
Come quickly Lord Jesus.
That’s a great question. Actually, it’s the only relevant question. And the answer isn’t that surprising:
“no differences have been seen when comparing pregnant women participating in the v-safe pregnancy registry with the background rates of adverse pregnancy outcomes.” - American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists
In other words, the rate for miscarriage, stillbirth, etc. is entirely unchanged between those who get vaccinated for COVID-19 and those who do not.
I agree, but in all the bins combined there are 1370 miscarriages a day in the US. The number given in the article is also combined.
That’s exactly the opposite of the recommendation from the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists based on the available evidence.
“Available data suggest that symptomatic pregnant and recently pregnant patients with COVID-19 are at increased risk of more severe illness compared with nonpregnant peers.” - American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (https://www.acog.org/clinical/clinical-guidance/practice-advisory/articles/2020/12/covid-19-vaccination-considerations-for-obstetric-gynecologic-care)
Also from that page: “ACOG strongly recommends that all eligible persons receive a COVID-19 vaccine or vaccine series, depending on the product. Obstetrician-gynecologists and other women’s health care practitioners should lead by example by being vaccinated and encouraging eligible patients to be vaccinated as well.”
Doesn’t matter.
You can’t handwave away a miscarriage right after the jab at 3 months along by pointing and jibbering about “but muh 4.5 months miscarriage by a 45-year-old crack addict!”
This is why averages are not your friend, unless you have a sample known to be homogeneous with respect to all confounding factors.
I remember the lines for polio sugar cubes as well as the smallpox vaccine in first grade....
I had an aunt pregnant and I believe she took the polio sugar cube at our local elementary
They opened for a month on weekends and you stopped by and took it
Orderly as I recall
As for vets and pregnant animals...indeed you are correct.
There is a distinction
Live vaccines are a no no
Killed ones are usually ok especially in latter half of gestation
Shorter gestation pets are more at risk
I wouldn’t vaccinate a pregnant pet just to be safe or I assume a pregnant woman unless it were dire...a real actual bring out the dead scenario...Ebola infections by the billions ...
I’m ambivalent
I was just with my late 80s aunt and uncle...they both had Covid last year
And the two stage vaccine three months ago
Neither had any side effects and he has pretty bad COPD
I have scar tissue on lungs from surgeries and pacemaker and pulmonary emboli and a leg clot...
I’m leery given what I read
I need the antibodies test...we think we all had it
Hey troll-boi.
From your source.
Not tested on pregnant women prior to the EUA / mass distribution,
only on animals.
“Gee Brain, what do you want to do tonight?”
“The same thing we do EVERY night, Pinky. Help Big Pharma take over the world!”
Available Safety Information Related to the use of COVID-19 Vaccines in Pregnancy
Despite ACOG’s persistent advocacy for the inclusion of pregnant individuals in COVID-19 vaccine trials, none of the COVID-19 vaccines approved under EUA have been tested in pregnant individuals. However, studies in pregnant women have begun and post market surveillance is underway.
Developmental and Reproductive Toxicity Data
Data from Developmental and Reproductive Toxicity (DART) studies for the Pfizer-BioNtech COVID-19 vaccine have been reported in Europe. According to the report presented to the European Medicines Agency, animal studies using the Pfizer/BioNtech COVID-19 vaccine do not indicate direct or indirect harmful effects with respect to pregnancy, embryo/fetal development, parturition or post-natal development (EMA).
I certainly think it introduces a risk, but the COVID virus if a pregnant woman gets it, introduces a greater risk.
So it really depends on whether the pregnant woman can isolate, and those that she does come into contact with are will isolated as well.
I suspect a lot can't do that. And even if the pregnant mother can isolate, the people around her may still be in contact with lots of people. And even if her contacts are vaccinated, they can still bring it home.
You failed to mention the post-market surveillance underway, in which they report that 123,000 pregnant individuals have been vaccinated, with no change in adverse pregnancy outcomes.
Pregnant women are never included in clinical trials for any medication. But they most certainly are monitored for any pregnancy issues related to whatever medication is in use. They ACOG isn’t simply guessing here: they’re using data from 123,000 pregnancies.
Uh-huh (dry).
In other words, just as Bill Gates used his customers as “beta testers” the jabbers are using their patients/customers as lab rats.
Are they really trying to save the elderly?
