It is a wonderful sign that airlines are touting that they are opening their countries to Israelis. It is disconcerting when our newly anointed prime minister visits Ben-Gurion Airport and suggests that Israelis should not travel abroad.
It is a sign that the air transport industry is returning to normal when airlines are taking their respective countries to court to try to encourage more tourism. Far less encouraging is when the Health Ministry releases a document warning all passengers that if anyone on their plane is diagnosed with the Delta variant of COVID-19, everyone on board must go into quarantine. Yes, vaccinated or not, or recovered from COVID-19, into quarantine you must go.

I think this is more about the expense of contact tracing any cases tourists may bring in than about the Delta variant.
Contact tracing ain’t cheap.
OTOH, tourism is easy money.
But when the government that also pushes Critical Race Theory and Gender Fluidity wants me to inject my body with something that changes my operating system (my RNA), pardon me if I want to take my sweet time.

BTW, I have had the flu once in the last 40 years and have never gotten a vax. I think my resistance is high enough to withstand COVID.

Just pointing out there are a significant number of people who are either inately immune-deficient, or immune-deficient because of med treatment like transplants.

Delta is so contagious that it seems to be evading the vaccine, although there may be other causes for this. Depressing news from Israel.
