There is no racial component to the “Karen” — there are are white Karens, black Karens, asian Karens, etc. They are simply busy-bodies who have been empowered by the government which has made their nosy scold act into a virtue. “Karen” is an obnoxious, middle-aged liberal white woman.

“Brandy” is the younger obnoxious liberal white woman who became a paid protester in university. She typically has tattoos and claims to not want children.

Ya, that's not true. Try watching about 150 episodes of Ridiculousness on MTV. "Karen" is always white. Every mockery of women on Kimmel and the Daily Show has been white. It is a pejorative reserved for white women.

Calling black women who wave their hands and waggle their necks at white men and cops "Shanequas" would not receive equal treatment.
