I didn’t want to take a chance on getting covid again. It was horrible and I had pneumonia along with it which meant 24 hours a day of oxygen for a week.

Thank God we [my husband had the disease, too] recovered at home. No telling what would have happened if we’d been hospitalized. We took better care of ourselves than they would have, that’s for sure.

We were told at the time. that there were only 6 months of immunity after having it, so we did what we thought was the right thing. I’m not apologizing for my decision. Nor will I judge you for whatever decisions you make in the future.

The vaccines are not “one size fits all”, they are made for our most vulnerable loved ones in the population. You made the right decision.

I am not a candidate for the regular flu shot. I will never pursue vaccination except for those well known modern plagues we have all been inoculated against.
