Only a federal crackdown will stem the flow. Only an aggressive federal approach — saner national gun laws and zero tolerance for illegal sales — will reduce the number of guns used to shoot and kill thousands of people in Chicago each year.
Some 60% of guns used in crimes in Chicago can be traced to out-of-state dealers, including 20% from Indiana alone. If the problem is national, crossing state borders, the solution must be, too.

Stop and frisk. Charge and convict felons in possession of a gun and give them 1-10 years depending on their prior record.
Mark my words: We are going to lose our Second Amendment rights because of the intellectual and emotional incontinence of a tiny minority. The only question is whether there’ll be any pushback — actual physical pushback, not just hurling insults and empty boasts on social media — when the confiscations begin.
I don't recall seeing gang-bangers standing in line at the gun store or standing in line to fill out the background check form.....

When I go around town here in Arizona, most people are carrying guns, and everyone has one in thier car, hell they are for sale up and down the highway on the side of the road. There isn’t any “Gun Violence” around here either? I wonder why?

Yep, down here in Tombstone our mayor signed a declaration naming Tombstone America’s Second Amendment City (January 2017) and he’s a democrat!

If you read the uniform crime report you’ll notice it isn’t the guns but a certain demographic at the root of the problem
