I said in November that they will keep Biden in place at least until 2024 so he can run again. Then, he can resign in 2026 and Harris can replace him, finish his term and run for 2 more.
That will give the media plenty of time to change her image.

The vice president's handling of the illegal immigration crisis as the administration's "border czar" and a widely panned trip to Guatemala and Mexico City early this month appear to have taken a toll on her political image.
If she does as she's told, she'll succeed him when he, ahem, dies of natural causes while in office. If she doesn't, she'll be forced out (by whatever means the Demagogic Party factions feel is necessary) and replaced with someone who will.
