A Florida police officer was shot in the head while escorting a man out of a car — sparking a frantic manhunt and putting an entire county on lockdown, authorities said.
The 26-year-old officer, who was not immediately identified, was shot late Wednesday in Daytona Beach while conducting a “proactive patrol,” where he encountered Othal Wallace, 29, sitting in a 2016 Honda with California tags.

Police chief is black, too. He was on local TV here. No surprise he wouldn’t call out BLM and their dehumanizing of cops. These shot cops are the fruits of the Burn, Loot and Murder campaign.
‘Proactive’ meaning nothing was wrong, the officer just decided to engage this individual. I’m not trying to blame the cop, but I’m getting really fed up with the ‘authorities’ thinking they need to mind every body else’s business. Maybe it’s best to just leave folks alone until the bad guys start something.
Dear Mr KettlePot
What gives you the authority to rule on this matter before the facts are in?
Do you have special knowledge about the case?

The officer didn't get the Derek Chauvin memo, apparently.
"Just F.I.D.O."
More on the perp...
>>Proactive’ meaning nothing was wrong, the officer just decided to engage this individual.<<
Ya know...sometimes cops do that. Kinda there job to check out stuff that doesn’t look right.
Did you look at the picture of the thug? Did you read that he began a struggle with the cop..like almost immediately? How bout the fact the guy had a firearm and was willing to use it against a cop?
If this dude was parked in my neighborhood, I think I’d like a cop to walk up on him and ask...Hey..sup?
Crime prevention is also their business, that means being "proactive" instead of reactive. But that's why he wears the badge, and you don't.
A couple hundred thousand likely taxpayer dollars were used to save this thug’s life so he could later go out and shoot a cop.
What a country!
The officer is in serious condition and expected to live, a 100k reward is being offered.
Sure would be nice if the punk ran into the woods and a python had him for lunch.
Derek Chauvin will have lots of time to think about “proactive policing” and about the wonders of F.I.D.O.
There are certain identifiers to criminals that are involved in these type incidents and other felonies every day. They are:
1. Black male 16 -40
2. Unemployed
3. Uneducated
4. Idol (nothing to do all day)
5. Drugs
6. No money.
7. No father or unknown father
8. Bad attitude (chip on your shoulder)
It’s said to be a fact that America would be the safest country in the world statistically and with the lowest crime rate but for black people. I would be the first to say “not all” black people because I have known some fantastic blacks in my life. But, even millions of blacks agree that the class of blacks represented by the 8 ‘identifiers’ above ARE America’s biggest crime problem.
I think there is an alternative for society that would make the current imprisoned blacks happy and hard working black and white citizens ecstatic. The street thugs hanging out on the street corners of America, that haven’t gone to jail yet, will scream racism too. Tough.
So, what’s the cure? It is to ship all that closely fit the 8 items above to various islands in the South Pacific. America either owns or buys these islands. Regarding current prisoners in American prisons, the really hard core, dangerous prisoners go to their own island known as Incorrigible Island and police themselves under a regimen and structure imposed by the prison administrators. Food and supplies are shipped in as needed.
Basically, this means that the defenseless will be sorted out and protected. The bad asses will just be allowed to have at it. That would be called “self depopulation”.
The middle level of blacks (non murderers/non rapists) who express a sincere desire to rehabilitate their lives go to a nice island, well policed by an all black force with no guns and with 50 different vocational education buildings to attend school in each day. Overall security is provided by the US Navy circling the island 24/7.
Upon graduation from this high quality vocational school, graduates are guaranteed a job and can go anywhere in the world they want to go (and that a job is available) with financial support until they get on their feet.
If they then committ a felony, they go back to Incorrigible Island and start the process over.
A third class of blacks would be those that closely fit all 8 of the above but have not committed a felony. They could be handled by being forced to do the same (vocational school) but right here in America.
Now, white Liberals and journalists will scream racism and demand these guys be allowed to be criminals so they can continue to murder and rape our society and kill cops. That’s when we start talking about an island or two for Liberals and journalists. Such an island would be provided no “funds” for police. They get to self police themselves too. Need a strong white male cop to protect you? Too bad, fight for yourself.
Something like the foregoing would make the current black prison population happy and our society ecstatic and would reduce the crime rate by half or 2/3 or more. Financially, it would be much less costly than our current prison INDUSTRY.
Good, Bad, or Indifferent.... But who was it that brought the
Africans to this country to plant, harvest the crops and wash,
cook and clean? Quite often you reap what you sow.

3. Uneducated
4. Idol (nothing to do all day)...
...
Really? That's what "idol" means? SMFH
You’ve never left your car idoling while
you went into the store.
Ironic.
A lot of people would say this guy’s crime was “driving while black.” In other words, it was police harassment.
You can only go by what’s in the story. With the media actively ginning up race hatred & cop hatred, it is better to be reactive than proactive these days. Let sleeping dogs lie. This poor man paid the price of what might have been considered good policing in a different era.
And most folks on this board don’t have Special Knowledge. They comment, none the less.
