But this building was designed to survive hurricanes and had survived 40 years of them. I suppose it is possible that weathering that weather had eventually weakened something, but I am still ready for a terror announcement today. The timing was perfect for maximizing casualties.

I remember that story. The silly claims about the “woman engineer” were a myth. The engineers who signed off on the designs and faced professional disciplinary action were all men.
