Looking at the still pictures its appears to me that an entire building pancaked and what everyone is focusing on is a second building that’s face was torn off. The rubble pile is too large and is far away from the face of the building for that rubble to have come from that single partially destroyed building. I can see roofing on the rubble pile that would far exceed what we are being directed to look at. Something is not right in what we are being told.
It’s not just the face of the second building that collapsed. If you look at before and after photos, you’ll see that over half of the original complex collapsed.

And now the conspiracy theory crowd is here. Not only are they vaccine experts they are structural engineering experts as well I am praying for those hurt grieving and still trapped not trying to blame this in some deep state conspiracy. Sometimes accidents and tragedies just happen.
Okay. That is more in line with what I am seeing. There could be a huge number of people under that flattened rubble. No one is coming out of there alive.
I made a special exception and watched a few minutes of CNN (they cover disasters like this very well) and a woman who lives next door thought there was work being done on the collapsed building. The county commissioner also implied work was being done. Some of this work is routine and ongoing and was required after Hurricane Andrew. The building code standards are very strict apparently.
When doing a controlled implosion, the supporting piers are blown and the building pancakes.In this case investigation of the condition of the support pillars will likely reveal the cause.

Yes building pilings are sometimes driven into mud sand or clay....quite deep I might add....bed rock being pretty deep
But Miami area does have coral bed rock in abundance
You see it at the surface particularly in coconut grove by the Mutiny hotel and dinner key
Bedrock where I grew up in Jackson Mississippi was 125 foot down on average
And check out surface spoils around al the phosphate quarries

We used to dig trenches down there on pipeline work....coral wall trenches...you could dig it but it was tough...and you’d go to eat lunch and I’d WellPoint system wasn’t on to keep it dry we’d have a ten foot deep clear trench of ground water
