Once we had a lot of fabs. IBM had fabs in Virginia and Vermont to name a couple I'm aware of. Intel, TI, AMD, Cypress, and at least a half dozen more were in the game. But they didn't keep pace with newer processes. And the pointy headed MBAs churned out by the universities just went abroad instead of building up and modernizing our own semiconductor industry.

As usual, we invent it, and other countries eat our lunch.

I don’t know how reliable this report is, but it might be related. Some U.S. vendors of other Chinese products were having a lot of difficulty getting shipments until about a month or two ago.

Inflation will also continue to push prices higher too. On nearly everything.

I just found out yesterday that most gas stations here in northern Colorado Springs are out of gas.

I downloaded “GasBuddy” to see if it would locate stations that have gas but no such luck. It gives the price the stations would charge if they had gas.

Anyone know an app or other method to determine which stations are pumping gas near you?

Oh, and ‘Thank you Obama!”.
