These writers live in big cities—where it may not make sense to own a car.

Out here in the countryside it is a different world.

Same here.

Out of the 5, one operational.

The rest, vintage projects I can fix and maintain. Besides, I really don’t have much of a life anyway.

Take anything from Yahoo as Marxist propaganda. It’s good to check into how they think from time to time.

As will I, if I can help it. If I have to build my own, so be it.

They don’t care. Either do the lawmakers. It is always “one size fits all” based on city demographics and protocols.

The biggest factor in favor of a “subscription model” for motor vehicles is that your average car is probably stationary at least 90% of the time.

Due to CAFE standards, the tonka toy cars of tomorrow will cost 60-70 grand. Make that gas guzzler last, friends.

Marxists say that all property is theft but apparently they are perfectly okay with people being nickel and dimed to death.

“Some analysts think the car subscription market is set to grow by over 70% next year. “

All of whom work for auto subscription start-ups.

We already have on demand rentals and leases. And, of course, purchases.

These writers live in big cities—where it may not make sense to own a car.

One of the biggest reasons that EV cars are selling in China is because ICE (gasoline) cars are not allowed into parts of major cities, but EV's are. There are laws and rules that punish people for buying ICE cars. Liberals want to duplicate that here.

If Gates sells you software, that’s a one time buy (even less if you got it bundled with your system).

But if he can hold your computer hostage with an annual license fee, ca-ching. BILLIONS.

Large trucks depreciate 46-49% in 3 years. They are overpriced. There is no true free market competition.

I avoid subscriptions like the plague, I am about to reinstall win7 on one machine and isolate it from everything just so I don’t have to upgrade my Quickbooks Pro, now QuickbooksPro is Annual Subscription ONLY!

Next is one of the free Linux Accounting Programs modified

At lease it’s in the driveway when you want it.

If you don’t want that, use Uber. Or the bus.

If you make a trip per day in you vehicle, subscription service does not suit you. ESPECIALLY if you have to go pick it up.

I remember my step-dad telling me that cars were becoming too expensive to own. This was in the early 70s when a car started to cost what a house did when he was a young adult. He thought people would end up leasing cars.

I guess he was half right. But he would be gob smacked at the prices of cars today.

Like No.6, he built KAR120C with his own hands.

He knew every nuts, bolt, and cog.
