Last month, I texted Tucker Carlson to ask him a question that was on my mind: “Did you get vaccinated?”
“When was the last time you had sex with your wife and in what position?” he replied. “We can trade intimate details.”

One question you may be asking, if you are a New York Times reader, is: Why are you exchanging texts with Tucker Carlson, the Fox News host who recently described the media at large as “cringing animals who are not worthy of respect”?
[...]
The answer is one of Washington’s open secrets. Mr. Carlson, a proud traitor to the elite political class, spends his time when he’s not denouncing the liberal media trading gossip with them. He’s the go-to guy for sometimes-unflattering stories about Donald J. Trump and for coverage of the internal politics of Fox News (not to mention stories about Mr. Carlson himself). I won’t talk here about any off-the-record conversations I may have had with him. But 16 other journalists (none from The Times; it would put my colleagues in a weird position if I asked them) told me on background that he has been, as three of them put it, “a great source.”
“In Trump’s Washington, Tucker Carlson is a primary supersecret source,” the media writer and Trump chronicler Michael Wolff writes in his forthcoming collection of essays, “Too Famous.” Mr. Wolff, who thanked Mr. Carlson in the acknowledgments of his 2018 book, “Fire and Fury,” explained, “I know this because I know what he has told me, and I can track his exquisite, too-good-not-to-be-true gossip through unsourced reports and as it often emerges into accepted wisdom.”

This is so obviously an attempt to discredit a man that is doing real damage to the Left.
The problem is they always use the same playbook. Make up anything at all and attribute it to unnamed sources. The folks who eat this crap up are those who badly want it to be true.
Don’t believe anything written in the NY Times, ever.
Has their been any entity anywhere which has slid backwards so far as the New York Times?
This story from the NYTimes has all the hallmarks of classic disinformation. They’re trying to sully Carlson’s reputation with Trump Deplorables and the R base. Again, don’t ever believe anything printed in the NYTimes.
I once had the displeasure of helping Wolff put on his jacket after a TV interview we did with him; he’s a smarmy, foggy, and discourteous little man.
The Hunter story was going no where and Tucker saw that. He’s not like Hannity who beats a dead horse for months on end. Tucker also has old school manners and it was getting close to the election.
The NYS republican party.
Michael Wolff is a unrepentant liar.
Bingo! And it bears repeating:
DON'T EVER BELIEVE ANYTHING PRINTED IN THE NYTIMES!!!
How about posting from an article that doesn’t require a subscription????............Sheesh!
Sorry. I didn’t need one when I clicked on the link.
I stopped watching fox altogether. My take is that they are the diversion task force for the establishment. They get us focused on the details of items the establishment intends never to do anything about. We argue and argue and bluster. Then they narrow it down to 2 candidates and all goes on as it ever was. Then rinse, wash, repeat.
I could have sworn Tucker said on his show (early on when vaccines were opened up to everyone) that he had been vaccinated but he was dismayed by the left criticizing anybody who asks legitimate questions. Maybe not.
Who cares but most importantly, why even post on these threads then?
You got your moment of attention, so enjoy it........Sheesh!
Here’s a line from the article: “But his decades of Washington relationships have produced a tiresome conversation among Mr. Carlson’s old friends about what he really stands for, whether he’s really a racist or whether he cynically plays one on TV.”
Some friends.
By the way, if anyone couldn’t read the article without signing up, you’ve probably visited the NYTimes site sufficient times (two or three) to activate that message. Clearing the NYTimes cookies can fix that. It worked for me. But search engines seem to keep making it difficult to find the cookie files, so that can be a problem in itself.
And here I thought it was a free speech forum. Evidently, only for those following your party line. Had you read the article, you’d realize it was closely aligned with my post.
Satan, by a whisker.
I haven’t watched Fox since November3, 2020. An in law came to visit and said he is a Fox news Junkie... LOVES Tucker! I turned him on to the WarRoom months ago and he does enjoy that. A former CA/ now GA resident.
Told him to wake up and smell the coffee!
