The 63-year-old now has a week to resign and hand the speaker the job of finding a new government, or must call a snap election..
Swedish center-left Prime Minister Stefan Löfven was ousted in a no-confidence vote in parliament on Monday, plunging the country into deep political uncertainty as it tackles the COVID-19 pandemic.
Löfven, who was defeated after nearly seven years in power over a plan to ease rent controls for new-build apartments, now has a week to resign and hand the speaker the job of finding a new government, or call a snap election.

“The government now has a week to decide and we will hold talks with our cooperation parties,” Lövfen told a news conference after the vote.

Stupid socialists. Higher rents are easier to deal with than no place to rent at all.

SPARKING uncertainty? In the previous election (2018), the center-right coalition lost a lot of ground to right-wingers, but the “Center” party refused to form a cabinet with them, so a left-wing coalition formed a coalition with only 144 out of 375 seats. I guess the Center party decided to turn on the left-wing coalition. Utter chaos.
Didn’t she go Iran and get treated like Wench ?
