It was very hot but I did managed to ride a little and visit a few yard sales. I got a Harley lapel Pin, some books, a cd and a very cool road map. I love road maps. I even know how to fold them back up after reading them. This road map will probably not end up in my saddlebags though. It is a Road map of EGYPT. I am not making this up.

My father used to drum his fingers on the steering wheel while we traveled wherever. Never thought about it other than he did enjoy music. With eleven chilren to feed and clothe there was not much extra time for the farmer that he was. After Mom and he passed an instrument none of us knew existed was found deep in his closet. So thank you Dad for your comitment to us and hoping you are once again able to play in an eternal band.

I keep a map of Bristol and Plymouth County in my saddlebag.
It’s helpful when reaching a crossroads in the Freetown State Forest. Although the Forest is haunted and the site of many scary legends, a wrong turn could end you up in Fall River, or New Bedford, which can be scarier.
(((Both Fall River and New Bedford are the locations of WONDERFUL National Historical Parks, but also have some very sketchy areas)))
I certainly wouldn’t want to take a wrong turn in EGYPT, though.

Yes, I did get closer to my normal sleep pattern but woke up an hour before the alarm was set to go off. Just my rotten luck. LOL
Did you manage to catch up on sleep this weekend? Take some time to sit out on the deck to hang out with your feathered friends?
