Anthony Mackie, the star of Disney’s The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, says taking on the role of Captain America was humbling but difficult because America prevents black men from succeeding.
“I’ve worked so long in this business, and I’ve done so many things that I felt were not appreciated or overlooked or things that were not considered to be worthy of promotion — and this is like my first promotion,” Mackie told Variety.

Hollywood ......Run by libs and dems and yet he is terrified to say that out loud....Gosh,I won’t get any more parts unless I blame all of america for the dems racism.....
Tell ya what Mackie, start shoveling out all that money you make and prove America wrong.
Mackie is worth $8 million. I am betting that most people would like to be as oppressed as he is.
Bob Mackie has contributed more to Hollywood.
Maybe he is a racist. 😀
America is the only country that allows any individual to achieve their dreams - based on hard work, talent, and determination.
The actor Chris Evans has no personal ideology in common with Captain America, and apparently neither does Anthony Mackey.
It’s sad to see so many ‘heroes’ brainwashed by divisionism.
Yes. If America is keeping black men from seeing their potential, then why is he a star of a major motion picture?
The logic is lacking in this guy - YODA

Yes, the Stalinazi Demonrat welfare/criminal plantation does. Leave the plantation and you can be all you can be.
I doubt that. My high school senior year validectorian was State football quarterback, top scholastic honors, and was black.
Prove it Hollyweirdo. Sick of loud mouthed jerks who spout accusations yet without basis or facts.
Leftists like him who spread the false narrative that merit based achievement is a hopeless pursuit for blacks in America is the ONLY thing in our country today that is substantially “keeping black men from seeing their potential”.
Then leave.
Go to where your potential can flourish like flowers.
Leave your cash here...your new land will let you make plenty.
OR...and its a suggestion I love to make: STFU.
Success stories are rarely told (one of our serious shortfalls in America today).
Where you have a successful school that hired decent and qualified teachers...refused to hand out waivers....said ‘no way’ to lessening expectations, and rewarded excellence....everyone (white, Latino, or black) progressed ahead.
When you go to Baltimore, they hired incompetent teachers, lowered expectations, rewarded failures, and maybe ten kids out of a hundred met expectations after twelve years of high school.
Because black men are not responsible for what they do
Yeah, I know as an old white guy I’ve tried to keep the black man down???
What horse crap.
Apparently Africa does an even worse job of suppressing black men’s potential
You’re welcome to go somewhere that helps black men see their potential, Mr. Mackie. Try China, and take LeBron with you.
I Got depressed, so last night I went to a free concert at a local park. 70's cover band. Never heard a single cuss word, no one was drunk, no one was fighting, no one was causing a scene, everyone was very polite, didnt hear a single horn go off as 2000 people all left at once.
The world isnt full of a holes, the MSM is a microscope on the deranged, mentally skewed, the ugly, the sick and twisted, the morally bankrup persons in our society. More and more I am convinced this election wasnt legit.
More and more Im convinced they are trying to feed us dog crap while telling us it's steak.
This country is run by an over whelming majority of cowards and souless individuals, hell bound and taking everyone with them.
, This has been the devils plan since Adam and Eve. Jesus is coming, Choose a side soon.
Did I mention almost the entire crowd at the concert was all white older amercans? There were som familie there with young kids , rest were white younger teens who were with most likely thier grandparents. And the lead singer of the band said " God Bless you all" as they left the stage.
