Oh, please..there is absolutely nothing ‘commendable’ about this six pence. He played the whore from day one of his selection.. he never stepped away from his bosom brethren the Bush jocks and lying Ryan government slugs. Pence flipped the American voters an international salute.. it is not what he did to President Trump, it is what he did to this nation.. calling himself ‘Christian’, is big time delusion..
I remember two or three times when Trump publicly asked Pence to do the right thing. Trump must have known that it was possible for Pence to stop the theft.

There is no requirement for them to do so, and none has EVER done so if their electors were not under challenge by the congress. Never.
And every one of those states, legally, has delegated the power of electoral selection to state executives under their supervision of an election.
In all 50 cases. 100%.
Pence had ZERO constitutional role to play in altering the status of any elector.
That power rests EXCLUSIVELY with the state legislature and the US Congress.
There are no other legal factors. Not even the ones you hope for and try to imagine into being.
He could have at least made an objection to the vote. Maybe he could have called for an investigation to ensure the election was fair and not fraudulent.
Could he have stopped the certification? I don’t know but he at the least could have been a real leader and called for an investigation. A Democrat would have done everything possible to try and stop or delay the certification.
That information, even if true, has nothing to do with his performance during the election.
The general tone of this site, is that we are supposed to hate Mike Pence. But I’ve never quite understood what they expected him to do, when duly authorized authorities of the states submitted their electoral votes.

He was a coward even if his hand was forced. He chickened out about Jan 6th (blamed Trump), to big of a coward to mention the obvious voter fraud, and said that there was not massive voter fraud.
Whether proven or not, massive voter fraud has been happening for decades. The (not-so)great JFK did not win his election and everyone with an IQ over 50 knows this. Chicago most common saying on election day is, “Vote Early and Vote Often.”
There were precincts in Philly that had a 100% vote total for Biden and several over 95%. Compare to cities, Cleveland and Philly. Same demographics, both midwest, and close in size. Cleveland voted 65% for Biden and Philly over 85%. Anyone with a lick of common sense knows massive cheating happened there.
Pence (love his VP debate by the way, he looked great) was nothing but a gutless coward since the election ended.
The Vice-Leaker-in-Chief should go straight to hell. And we had to wonder who leaked EVERYTHING to the media/enemy. He had the best seat in the leaker’s chair. F-—ing Traitor/Leaker/Bastard.

All 50 states sent THEIR electors and the US Congress accepted them.

Actually Georgia and Arizona sent alternate slates of electors, some other states may have as well. Several members of GA senate also sent Pence a letter asking him to allow 2 more weeks as they were in the midst of investigating fraud.
I just checked, seven states sent alternate slates: Arizona, Georgia, Michigan (despite the Democrat governor’s fascist attempt to block it), Nevada, New Mexico, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.
