Japan says China's military strategy unclear, of serious concern

Japan said on Thursday China's military intentions are unclear and its armed forces' rapid expansion is of serious concern, circumstances that require Europe, the United States and other Asian nations to come together to stand up to Beijing.

"China has been in beefing up its military capacity very rapidly and we are not sure what the Chinese intentions are," Japanese Defense Minister Nobuo Kishi told the European Parliament's security and defense sub-committee.

"And we are seriously concerned with this," he said by video link.

NATO leaders on Monday said for the first time that China's rise presents "systemic challenges". U.S. President Joe Biden's eight-day trip to Europe focused on rallying support for an American strategy to contain rising Chinese power.

China's mission to the EU rebuked NATO and said it is "committed to a defense policy that is defensive in nature."

Kishi told EU lawmakers that China's ballistic missiles, its decision to increase its defense budget to four times that of Japan and its militarization of islands in the South China Sea needed to be "observed vigilantly" to "preserve peace."

"They're expanding their national defense budget enormously," he said. "The international community must come up with one voice to approach China," he said, also calling for Beijing to explain why it was also rapidly developing its air force, now the third-largest in the world, according to U.S. Department of Defense data.

I wonder how many times in history a nation has significantly ramped up it’s military and then did nothing with it. I’m going to guess that it’s much more of an exception than it is a rule.

I am watching the UKs fleet now in the South China Sea. They have a carrier full of F-35s ready for the PRC air force to come out and play. the PRC have broken the Treaty of Hing King with the UK, whichi was supposed to remain independent.

I expect some kind of show down, The Brits do not send a carrier to the other side of the world without planning something.

The Chinese people have nothing to do with it and have no say in anything.

The CCP rules everything, solves all problems by creating new solutions which become tomorrow’s problems. One of those solutions was rapid industrialization with no thought to the effects of pollution. Now the CCP sees its air, water, and land as polluted and longs for a clean environment. They look to the US and see what they most ardently desire, but its form of government is antithetical to CCP rule and so is an existential threat which must be controlled or destroyed.

Having played a massive role in subverting the last Presidential election, they got rid of a challenger in DJT and have replaced him with their bought and paid for puppet, Joe Biden.

The CCP then began to push CRT everywhere, since it would destroy America as founded, while creating a culture that pleases and is familiar to the CCP. The introduction of CRT into the US military began the removal of that threat, weakening the moral and discipline necessary for a cohesive military; a military that will have to problem confronting American citizens - just like the PLA.

The introduction of covid to the world was a trial run for the CCP’s next step: the use and spread of genetically tailored bacteria and viruses targeted at specific races with the goal of eliminating all races, except the Master Race, the Han Chinese.

They have said all of these points, so it should come as no surprise to those keeping up with the CCP’s long term goals.

I do know the Royal marines are aboard.
