1. Someone needs to ask Lindsey what is the meaning of “instantly”.
2. The preferable “national security” goal on energy is purely and simply energy independence. THAT does not require a push for wind and solar. It does need the large scale nationwide adoption of the most modern small, safe, modular nuclear power plants to reduce fossil fuel needs for heating and electricity without mandates for wind and solar. Such a move could be the effective means for sufficient electric power for electric vehicles later, when materials science provides better batteries that don’t require rare-earth scarce metals and raw materials.
Let the unsubsidized marketplace decide when this will happen, not Lindsey Grahamnesty or the other congresscritters on out dime.
We don’t need to at this time...we have plenty of energy and need to simply exploit our own resources while we continue to develop the technology...which will be promptly stolen by China and sold back to us. We need to:
1) Return to energy independence like we had under Trump
2) Protect our intellectual capital WRT renewables.
Lindsey is a globalist and cares only for his own personal influence and power. He is only slightly interested in what is best for our country.
Bringing liberty back to the Republic would help National Security even better

Short of massive investment in nuclear, starting like today, there is no possible way to transition to “all renewables” within any conceivable time frame. But the greenies won’t hear of using nuclear, which reveals the mendacity of their campaign. It is meant to ruin the economy without having to have any beneficial results at all.
So instead of complete energy independence for America under Trump this idiot wants to empower Chinese solar panel and wind generator companies.
