Portland, Ore. — FM News 101 learned late Wednesday night that in response to the criminal indictment of Officer Corey Budworth, the bureaus entire Rapid Response Team resigned. Sources with the Police Bureau say the team voted unanimously to disband.
The Rapid Response Team is a group of volunteer officers who respond to civil disobedience, demonstrations, and riots.
Could be an Antifa party this weekend.
They oughta suit up as Antifa and do a little psy-op.

From what I’ve read elsewhere, these guys were all specially trained in crowd control. So they won’t be easy to replace if Portland should decide to do so.

I know someone who had mentioned plans to move to Portland, but this was a couple years ago. I was informed recently that the plans have been dropped. Various reasons were given.

My own daughter and boyfriend plan to move to Portland in about 10 years. I keep telling her it isn’t the same Portland she knew when she went to school at the U of O 15 years ago, but she doesn’t believe me because I’m a conservative kook. I keep waiting for her to wake up and smell the coffee.
I wish all the Portland police would resign at once, say about 5:00 PM Friday night. Then let the “games begin”.
Games: “Seeing how far you can throw a lit Molotov cocktail”.
Seeing if you can burn down a building with a single firebomb.
Seeing how fast you can loot a store.
Seeing how many people you can assault, rob and rape in a 10 minute period.
See how many can overdose in one hour.

Actually, you're right - the two major trends in policing are: (1) Militarization of the police force, (2) increasing federal oversight.
