Exactly. I was never in favor of the picks after learning g their positions on key jssues before they were elected. Gorsuch I didn’t know much about at the time but kav and Amy I didn’t like for picks. Kavs positions on certain gay issues was t very solid conservative. His answers sounded like he would side with democrats on the issue if they came before the court. Amy gave a few worrying answers too, but I thought at the time ‘perhaps she’ll be OK, jury is still put on her totally, but so far, not liking her positions on certain cases so far. But then again I’m not a lawyer so maybe I don’t understznd all the subtleties of the cases, but some decisions by her just don’t appear to be solid conservative
I don’t blame the Supreme Court. The republicans have been saying for years they have a better plan. Even with 3 branches they couldn’t come up with a replacement. There is no reason to get rid of obamacare if republicans have no idea what to do after.

It’s because the whole thing is theater, an act put on by red state AGs as they campaign for reelection or higher office.
