AUSTIN, Texas (CBSDFW.COM) – Texas Gov. Greg Abbott on Wednesday afternoon discussed details on the state building its own wall along the southern border.
The governor made the announcement last week during a summit about border security with law enforcement officials.
“Texas is stepping up… and doing more than any other state has done to respond to these challenges along the border. [Texas lawmakers] just passed a budget adding more than a billion dollars to border security for Texas to do the federal government’s job,” Abbott said.

So what does he do if/when the feds won’t give him the land? What can he do?

Oddly enough they said on the radio folks on the border have been contacting the Governor wanting to donate land.

The time for letter writing is over. Why wait for non-responsive replies that take forever? Just do what needs to be done to protect state sovereignty because the federal government has no interest whatsoever in doing it.

Build Border Better.
If Abbott could organize and manage an effort to get most of the Texas border wall finished, he would not have any concern with re-election. At the same time, a one year push getting it done would also show what real Americans can do. Would be a serious nail in the Commie-Rat coffin at the same time.
But, it needs to be a We Build The Wall on steroids, fast and effective. Would like for Abbott to prove me wrong, but I don’t see him up to this task.
That’s why this is a hollow, pr issue. He can fight with the feds, say they won’t give him the land, and not have to build anything.
DeSantis is sending his share of help from Florida!

The point is to start anywhere they can and right away.
Given the purpose of the construction (National Security) such negative action would produce very bad optics for the prog administration.
It is not just the people of the State of Texas, it is the safety and security of the entire nation.
Such anti-American action (including an attempt to stop any construction) is far different than some obscure foreign policy
It is a matter that all Americans can easily understand.
Illegal aliens, drug trafficking and human trafficking, these are all things that everyday American Citizens know as border issues.
If they try to halt the construction bust them and get the documentation for 2022.
Other than that just build everywhere we can.

All the A.H.s in Washington have to do is shop for one
(in)justice that will approve an injunction.
Abbott immediately and very publicly announces he will NOT stop finishing the wall and also announces additional crews are being added to speed up the process.
Have DPS and Texas Rangers ready to move and arrest any Feds showing up at the border in an attempt to stop the work.
Contract with professional private videographers to embed with DPS and Texas Rangers to document the arrests and preserve that documentation. This makes the documentation the property of the State of Texas
Hold the Feds, get them arraigned and set court dates before their release.
Hold the documentation and get the Feds to trial in the summer of 2022.
Ignore it and carry on. Call out the Texas National Guard and send a photo to the judge.
I’ve been saying I think this is an uphill battle.

This could lead to an insurrection.
What state other than California wants to see their state
over-run?
If Texas calls up their national guard, Biden could nationalize it.
Then those guards go AWOL or the Citizens stand up and
say no ——ing way.
That judge would be living in another state by day’s end.
That's not a problem. It's an opportunity. It brings the States' Rights and national interest issues to a head in the right way at the right time. Respond to the injunction by passenger pigeon.
This issue is a titanic loser for Bai-Dung & Co., no matter what. Exactly what the Dungs can't afford in any court battles, elections, or "insurrections" for the next 10 years. The optics, the reality, the Wall itself. Brilliant move. Half the country might show up to help. Don't Mess with Texas--or America.
Socialists count on Conservatives following the rules while they merely make up their own. Time to stop fearing what they might do and call them out.
