No. Did you ever read the accounts as to why Ruby shot Oswald? Ruby was a temperamental hothead who was emotionally distraught the whole weekend. It was by mere happenstance he slipped into that basement after wiring money to an employee. There was no organized attempt to shut Oswald up; Ruby - like Oswald - was a loser who thought he’d be seen as a historical figure.
