Former Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe (D) is ahead of Glenn Youngkin (R) by four points in Virginia’s gubernatorial race taking place in November, according to a poll released Sunday.

JMC Analytics conducted the poll June 9–12, making it the first public poll to occur since both candidates secured their nominations; McAuliffe won the Democrat primary June 8, while Youngkin clinched his nomination more than a month ago. The two are now competing to replace outgoing Gov. Ralph Northam (D), who is term-limited and cannot seek reelection.

Sadly it’s too far gone, thanks to the liberal explosion in northern VA.

virtual tie means after several recounts and beau coup ballots found left in machines, car trunks, bathrooms etc...

McCauliffe wins.

And don’t forget the criminals... They are Terry’s and the Dem’s most loyal and growing voting block.

My hope is that the Louden County board of ed will continue to shoot themselves in the foot and the angry parents will not only vote them out but every other Dem along with them. It’s a long shot but sometimes you need to bet on the long shot.

Youngkin can win under three conditions.
  1. First, if Youngkin can avoid getting outspent by a huge margin, which almost always happens to Republicans in VA races lately.
  2. Second, he has to tie McAuliffe to the growing radicalism of the Democrats. Youngkin seems to be an establishment type, and therefore I don't know that he has any interest in doing that, or even knows how to do that. Plus his consultants would probably tell him that it would turn off high income northern VA voters etc.
  3. Third, McAuliffe will try to tie Youngkin to Trump to create what he hopes will be a heads I win tails you lose situation. If he embraces Trump, McAuliffe hopes it will turn off suburban white women and young college educated voters. If he distances himself from Trump, he will lose some of his voters and likely the election. The smart thing would be to not distance himself in any way from Trump, but instead compare him favorably to Biden's insane policies while tying McAuliffe to Biden. Pick out specific things Trump did in contrast to Biden.
For example if the price of gasoline remains at current levels or higher, which is virtually certain, point out how much lower it was under Trump, who was pro-drilling and pro-pipelines, while Biden's shutting those things down. If it continues rising over the summer, that line of attack will become even more effective. It would be a political jiu-jitsu.

The point is to embrace the things Trump actually did, which will look better and better (as opposed to the negative image some people have of him personally) and make it about that. It would be a very effective counter attack. But he's probably not smart enough to do that and his establishment consultants will advise against it.

It’s irrelevant. I will start a thread right here on FR on Theft night and provide a link to watch the theft. As the theft starts occuring, meaning when the algorithm starts counting dem votes 2 to 1 versus Republican votes, I will point it out. that starts about 10:30, usually. If you’re still awake, we can predict exactly what time 300,000 (or whatever amount of votes are needed) votes or so for McAwful get dropped. Normally its around 11:20.

That or I will just go to sleep and start making plans!

Unless they move one of those two near DC counties to Md, no chance.

Astute analysis.

I am a Virginia resident, living in the People’s Republic of Northern Virginia. My wife and I were delegates for Youngkin and Sears, an outstanding duo.

Glenn Youngkin is an outstanding person and family man (we go to the same church), a successful businessman, and a genuine conservative (not an ideologue like me but as a businessman more of a functional conservative perhaps somewhat along the lines of Trump).

He has a chance but it will be uphill. We are doing everything we can to get him elected.

Impossible Terry McAuliffe already has 40,000 mail in ballots to Youngkin 0. And that was just the printing plants first run.

It’s gone. The liberal bastions in the northern counties rule this state with an iron fist. VA is D+7 now.

Two ways for Youngkin to “turn the tide”:
1) undermine the fraud machines in NoVA, BEFORE the election. The R’s need to get court intervention to A) purge the voter rolls; and, B) require independent international election observers.
2) Campaign and get voter turnout in the non-urban parts of the state. Traditionally, R. candidates ignore the areas where their voters live. Boost the rural R vote by 10% and elections can be won.

If Deep State is gonna try to pass off another fraudulent squeaker, they’ll start with cooked polls to set the table.

The MoE was 4.2, so a statistical tie out of the blocks is good news, given Fast Terry currently has giant name recognition advantage and yet, he ain't leading.

The only way to beat Fast Terry is to scorch earth and present the facts that Fast Terry specifically chose Coonman and Beater despite knowing Coonman's blackface history and Beater's seasons beatings history. Fast Terry is directly handcuffed to Beater, having made his introductions to the baby eater league, who then became top multi-million dollar funders to Beater.

Those PACs will flood the zone to drive a wedge issue between blacks and the Democrats, to drive a wedge issue between the squishes and the Democrats.

This is quite literally Youngkin's only shot -- to drive down Democrat numbers at the polls. Make NoVA remorseful about having chosen a minstrel show last time, embarrass Fast Terry daily.
