A group of pro-Palestinian protestors burned an Israeli flag outside of Rockefeller Center as they marched through the streets of midtown Manhattan while demonstrating over businesses with ties to Israel.
The group carrying Palestinian flags and signs saying, 'None of us are free until all of are free,' 'Imagine justice,' and 'We will free Palestine within our lifetime.' They were also filmed chanting: 'From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free'.' Some critics claim that line is anti-Semitic because it appears to call for the destruction of Israel.

It boggles the mind that Jewish people still vote for Democrat. In my experience many (of at least the ones I’ve met) American Jews aren’t even for Israel being an independent state.

I quit asking former friends that question. American Jews, for the most part, will cringe up and refuse to answer that question. Israelis are the exact opposite. I hear/see it all the time.

An important difference - most Jewish Leftists in the US are “Jewish by culture” not by religion. Fortunately their numbers are in decline due to a low birth rate for the non-religious types (I know, surprise surprise) while overall religious (I.e. conservative) Jews continue to grow in number in Israel.
This event occurred yesterday. It appears that “Palestinian” mostly peaceful demonstrations are going to be a regular feature this summer.
Oh, well.
There are a few US cities where this kind of behavior is deserved. NYC is certainly one.
