In a Thursday appearance on Fox News Channel’s “America’s Newsroom,” Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) sounded off on former President Donald Trump’s involvement in the upcoming midterm elections.
McConnell was asked about an article saying Trump is “jeopardizing Republican chances of taking back the majority” with his continued involvement after leaving the White House.

Fox is owned by two liberals who spent over $120 million to elect democrats, $20 million of that was to anti-Trump efforts.
This was a gotcha question and McConnell in typical Mitch fashion deftly tried to dodge it. Even then, they take a pull from his answer to make a headline.
What did McConnell say that Trump and he would not agree about? Everyone in politics has an agenda. Everyone.
Far be it from me to defend Mitch, but this is the predictable game the media plays. I could interview just about anyone and bait them like this where my question frames any answer they give and my headline and pull quote can say whatever I want.
