he precinct for Scottsdale’s Homewood Suites voted for Joe Biden, 51% to 47%. Today, this upscale Arizona neighborhood regrets its decision.
Two hundred residents protested Saturday after ICE took over the recently closed hotel to house more than 1,200 illegal immigrants. No public input was requested, not even from the Scottsdale Police Department, which was notified of the decision a day before migrants were transferred.
Government usually detains the undocumented in poorer neighborhoods where they’re more easily ignored by the media. But this zip code has nearly three times the state’s median income, making it harder to hide the ongoing border crisis.
“Over the Memorial Day Weekend, we were notified about the hotel and the illegals that were moved in under the cover of darkness without any kind of consultation from the local community,” protestor Lisa Seger said.

Stories like this just make you wonder WHEN Americans will finally get it through their heads that the Democrat party’s only “platform” is messing with their lives for the benefit of the party. Period.
That is honestly a fear of mine. It has been done before as part of “people’s revolutions.” Currently I live in a blue state in an area where uneducated workers are needed for the fields. I would not be surprised to see campaigns soon to pressure people like my husband and me to give up our debt-free 2500 sf now- empty nest “for the people.”
They will learn when the crime rate goes up.
They will never admit it to their friends on Facebook though.

Motel6 is up to $100/night in too many places. Think they’re getting paid by the government to house some of these people thereby raising prices for the leftover rooms.

Scottsdale is one of the most conservative large cities in AZ.
Its unlikely anyone but the city council approved this.
