Anyone who says they didn’t learn about racism or slavery in school is literally a list or a failed student. It was there. The only way they didn’t learn it is because they skipped school.
Bet they didn’t learn about the horrors, enslavement, and human rights violations under Communism in the 20th century either.
This guy is a blatant liar. Black History Month has been around since 1970. Unless these kids have lived in a box, then they’ve learned about black history.
Or that their own people, the tribes of Africa, captured and sold their neighbors to the white slavers. African tribes supplied the slave trade with its commodity.

Likely these kids didn’t learn about systemic racism because, although they learned about slavery and Jim Crow, they have seen the blacks of their generation privileged in every arena of their lives, from overlooking misbehavior to grade inflation, to Black History Month, to affirmative action everywhere. What they were taught as history is inconsistent with what they have seen in the present time so, of course, they assumed racism was largely a thing of the past.

This attitude sounds reprehensible today; however, the Democratic Party still treats blacks as if they are unable to stand on their own and require a dependence on government.
Now, some Democrats will say “wait a minute, this isn’t fair, the Democratic Party of today isn’t the same as it was historically!”
However, the United States as a whole isn’t the same as it was historically, either. SJWs who go around browbeating Americans over a history of slavery, the KKK, and Jim Crow can’t then complain when we point out that it was actually the Democratic Party which was most involved in this history.”

Obama wasn’t my choice for President but when he won I at least acknowledged that he had a rare chance to really unite the black / white divide. It was not terrible then and he had the chance to just close it altogether. Instead he dynamited it open and used it to fuel power grabs. And it is wider than at any time in the past 50 years thanks to that POS. He tore a gash in the gut of America that will take a generation or more to heal, if it ever can at this point where the entire system at every level is telling blacks that all whites are evil, hate them, and want them dead.
