An ongoing disagreement between a major Houston hospital’s management and its nursing staff continues. Houston Methodist Hospital is requiring that all staff be vaccinated against COVID-19, with the exceptions of religious objection or health. Staffers were told to get the vaccinations or they no longer have jobs at the hospital.

Unfortunately, Abbott’s passport ban only really applies to State Contractors according to an article I just read. It’s very weak, nothing like DeSantis’s. The only penalty for a business requiring vaccine passports is that they can’t receive state grants or contracts with the state. This doesn’t apply to most businesses so there will be little, if any negative outcomes for businesses that require the passport. Weak and disappointing.
I had an update on the walk out from a group text which said that so many were fired for not having the vax that there are whole units and departments within the hospitals that are, shut down because no one to staff them. Apparently the CEO had no idea how many were not vaxed. I hope this is true.

Says who? Children are required to get a standard set of vaccinations before attending school. If that's legal then requiring you employees to be vaccinated is legal as well.

Tests for infectiveness are quicker and cheaper than antibody testing.
Though why no one is interested in antibody tests is beyond me. Natural immunity is a large part of the public health fight against covid now.
I have a close friend in senior management at a large hospital who reports the percentage of nurses, not just at their hospital, who won't take the experimental treatment is greater than 50% and isn't changing.
This isn't medicine. It's an experiment.

Nice propaganda. These are not vaccines; they're experiments and forcing experimental treatment on individuals was specifically addressed in the permissible experiments section of the Nuremberg Code in 1947.

When my youngest needed vaccinated before kindergarten, I asked the doctor not to give her the pertussis vaccine, because I had read it could cause serious problems. He said, “I NEVER give the pertussis vaccine. It can cause problems.” No one at school objected. When my granddaughter had her first or second vaccines as an infant, her mother noticed some erratic eye movements that afternoon. Pediatrician said it was seizure activity, and she was not to have pertussis vaccine again. Still went to school. I’m sure there are many instances of parents not wanting their kids vaccinated. I’m also sure that there have been lawsuits which ended up with kids going to school without vaccinations, depending upon what state they live in. But those freedoms are being quickly eroded in our country.

Because it's not a private company and their own affairs. If these korporations want to do business, there are rules and they're set up for a reason. Without them, you could ignore a company's trademarks and sell copies of their products on tables right in front of their stores. You could redirect their web traffic to your site. The list goes on.
Korporations that want to ignore the rules and force experimental testing on humans as the Nazis did can disconnect from the public's utility lines, have their driveways curbed over, and relocate to Communist China.

Religious exemptions for members of specific sects. Medical exemptions if you can prove an allergy or past serious reaction to a vaccine or something like that. It's highly doubtful that any of those would apply to the employees here.
Yeah take that argument to court and see where it gets you.
I disagree. Children get FDA-approved *vaccines* for school, not experimental gene therapy.
