Mr. Inspectorette and I had the honor and privilege to visit Normandy and the American Cemetery in 2012. Every year, on D-Day, The Longest Day has been our movie of choice. My beloved Mr. Inspectorette passed to his heaveny reward June 4, 2017.
I have watched it alone every year since. Every year, there is something new to be learned.
He doesn’t even know where he is. It was his staff who let him down.
joek’s adult diapers are close to his sharts.
“Omigod, I don’t want to draw attention to the exploits of me and my dear son, Beau, in Iraq and Afghanistan! I’m humble! C’mon, man!”
Must have been a profoundly moving experience to be on that hallowed ground. I can only imagine. Condolences on your loss.
Thank you.
