Trump Was Right: The Biden Administration Is Intent on Destroying the Suburbs

President Donald Trump warned you. In the name of equity and inclusion, the Biden administration is making moves that target the suburbs with federal regulation. It will pull zoning decisions away from city councils through the federal government’s typical mechanism to impose its will where it has no business intruding in our layered federalist system.

The Federalist:

As part of his $2.3 trillion infrastructure plan, the Biden administration is pushing local governments to allow apartment buildings in neighborhoods that are restricted to single-family homes. The administration claims it’s a way to ease a national affordable housing shortage and combat racial injustice in the housing market.

Current zoning laws that favor single-family homes, known as exclusionary zoning, have disproportionately hurt low-income people who can’t afford to move to the suburbs, the administration said. Their only choice is living in crowded apartment buildings. Biden’s proposal would incentivize local governments to get rid of exclusionary zoning by awarding grants and tax credits to cities that change their zoning regulations.

So, the Biden administration wants people to move from apartments in dense urban areas to apartments in neighborhoods in the suburbs. Not apartments in suburban towns, which often have a decent selection of apartments and townhomes for rent. The administration wants apartment buildings in developments zoned for single-family homes. They will use grants and tax credits as the carrot and eventually pull highway funds through the Booker Amendment as a stick.

These are not the apartments often built in what is termed cradle-to-grave housing. Several developments in the Atlanta suburbs contain apartments, townhomes, single-family homes, and 55-and-over sections. They are planned communities where all residents use common areas, except for some reserved just for the active senior population.

and the cities and the rural areas and the whole country but it’s not biden. It’s Susan Rice, Obama, Valerie Jarret etc. This is obama’s 3rd term. That’s why the left fought so hard to do the Steal. They knew it would be just like having obama back.

Unfortunately, Zho Xiden is intent upon destroying America, our Constitution and our way of life.

And thus far, there seems to be NO effort at all to stop that sonovabitch and his minions.

This is exactly what the Obama administration was doing. Eric “The Red” Holder’s fingerprints are all over this and it proves that Puddinhead Biden is just the puppet.

Everything Trump warned us about is happening.

Except the Market pull back, that will happen in 2022 and hopefully will wise up some Dem voters prior to the 2022 elections.

This country needs to “get back to formula”.

That is, we are kinda like the EU. We are 50 “mostly” sovereign countries (thanks to the tenth amendment) that are members of an overarching federation with a constitution that protects all citizens of every member country from overarching local governments. The main difference being that the EU has no real “EU armed forces”.

That’s probably why Brexit was possible, and it was less successful in the US in the 1860’s.

But the FedGov needs to be pulled back bigly. Their main function is to protect our boarders, protect states from each other and resolve issues that cross state lines. That’s it. Period.

Yup,the cities are all Rat Party cesspools. The GOP gets its support from suburbs and rural areas. Of the two it’s much easier to destroy the suburbs.

That’s why the left fought so hard to do the Steal.

That was Part 1 of "The Steal." Part 2 was because they knew that during Trump's second term, he was going to take the gloves off and go after the criminals of the Deep State. That was Hitlery's concern when she said they'd all go to the gallows if he won.

It was an all-or-nothing plan.

Read the proposed Cory Booker Act. Landlords will have no rights at all. You also won’t be able to inherit a home or land unless you pay a ransom to the government.

That’s true. I figured as soon as they certified the stolen election the market would dump. Maybe artificially propped up.

The “suburbs” means the middle class, or the bourgeois, who Stalin referred to as the kulaks. People who think and produce are always a problem for communists.

Think of all the blacks who did things right like wait until marriage to make kids, worked hard, saved, and provide better lives for their kids than they had growing up. That includes moving out of urban areas into the suburbs. Some of the best neighbors in my area are black -- including with how their kids respectfully speak to us "older" folks and how some of us men and kids get together to do projects for the truly older folks in our neighborhood. Before my kids were grown our kids spent the night at each other's houses. They tell me all the time that life wasn't like that where they grew up and that they're glad to be part of real life loving your fellow man like we have it. I tell them all the time it's how I grew up and joke that one day I'll be one of the truly older folks who need a little help here and there.

The Dims are trying to destroy every bit of that for both colors.

Correct. I first heard of this scheme during the Parkland shooting(?) ...on the radio. Seems the sheriff and county commissioners had cooked up crime stats. At the same time a DA from Maryland was on TV explaining how he was transferring MS13 members to Broward county. Then everything stopped! Even the trial for the shooter had MB been on hold!

You don’t get much apartment building on a 60 by 120 lot. WAWA seems to get preference on the big lots. Much further out and it’s not easy to walk a mile or two to get to public transportation.

If gets in for 2024, he damn sure better take the gloves off. One thing that bothers me about Trump is that he seems to have a strong desire to be liked by everyone and thinks he can win anyone over.
